Very nice campsites with teepees available in the next two very large stocked freshwater pond we’re taking trails want to go yes
We tried Loop A and found a shaded spot just perfect for our tent. It wasn't crowded on a Thursday night but many spots were reserved for the weekend. Amenities included water, pit toilet, and AT&T service.
We pulled in later in the evening with no reservation and was able to find a spot with full hook-ups for our camper. It was a nice campground, well maintained and pretty! Nice paved paths for our kiddos to right their scooters and fun water activities available to the kids for free (water bounce…

You must have high-clearance 4WD to get to these sites. Also like one of the other reviewers states, this does not mean that you’ll be one of few campers at the lake. We found a beautiful campsite that was secluded and settled in. Then we learned that a trail encircles the lake and goes through all…
Lots of trees and fire pits. Nice hiking trails around. It gets cooler at this elevation so bring a jacket even in the summer.
I have a small SUV, so I buy firewood and fill up water containers after I've set up camp. I usually expect a decent drive to find what I need, but this involved a very long drive down a rutted gravel road, out of the canyon, and back to Grantsville. I think it was 40 minutes each way.
Nice area and large camping sites. Toilet available. There's a river to play in at a pull off just a few minutes down the road. Tons of trails. A couple of deer wandered right through our campsite.
Downside- the campsites are really close to the main Alpine Loop road and there are cars constantly…

We got a pull through site and it had a beautiful view of the lake. It’s very quiet here, no hook ups and can only use the generator during certain hours. The sites are spaced far apart. At night you can hear some animals howling and in the daytime you can see antelope and bison. It’s a beautiful…

We stopped for one night while heading to Capitol Reef. The front desk was very friendly, they are in the office until 9pm. It's very easy on/off the freeway, so there is freeway noise but not significant. The bathrooms were clean, a bit of a maze to get to. We did not use the wifi as our visit was…
We needed a place to stop on our drive to Yellowstone and this spot popped up on our radar. We had no idea how beautiful this overnight stay would be! First on the drive across the causeway the smell of the lake was a little overwhelming but there is no trace of it on the campground. The spots are…

Great camp host. Sites have no shade. Sites are level with full hook up. Fitness center, 3 mile paved trail, and outdoor running track. Hiking trails minutes away Site 1 is the best site for any shade.
stayed for the weekend and it was great! had the spot right next to the bathrooms but not to stinky or loud. gotta make sure you get there kinda early or most spots will be taken

This is one of our family’s favorite getaways close to Pineview! Bathrooms are always clean, sites are always clean, & we’ve always had GREAT camp hosts! There’s only 1 double site, but we’ve got multiple tents and 1 trailer in site 4. There’s also parking across the road to park overnight for…
