Guadalupe River RV Park is located just three miles West of US Hwy 281 or just 7 miles North of Texas Hwy 46 (24.5 miles Northwest of New Braunfels Texas) on Spring Branch Road on the crown jewel of the Hill Country, the beautiful Guadalupe River. Welcome to the Beautiful Texas Hill Country. We have created a family oriented RV park and campgrounds that we hope to further develop to become a resort that you will want to return to year after year. Within the park there is seven-tenths of a mile of Guadalupe River frontage. One man made access point that is a stone stairway down to the river. All other access points are natural. The Texas-sized RV spaces are some of the largest in the industry with 97' pull-thus that are 39 feet wide totaling over 3,500 square feet of space! There are also some smaller RV sites for the more compact units. Spacious tile restrooms and showers are located within close proximity to the tent camping area and the RV sites. It’s close to everything! It was quiet, and site was large. The only negative things I have to say are the WiFi was nonexistent and we have our own on board. The road leading into the campground is a dirt rock road and very bumpy, dusty and has holes. It really needs to be paved.

If you don't want Wi-Fi service cell service or television signal. This is the place for you while I know most won't agree with me. That's okay to each his own. The staff was very unfriendly. I would not return. Besides doing stuff outside? When I go inside my camper, I would like to use Wi-Fi watch TV and surf the internet. The Wi-Fi signal that they claim that they have. You have to literally sit on a bench outside the door of the office and you get about one bar.

I was planning on staying there, but it is basically an equestrian state park. You can camp there, but there's not electrical and water hook ups. It's mostly tent camping. The staff was very friendly. I went to visit there just to see what it was about. If you're a hiker, there's hiking trails, so you'll enjoy that.

Everything about the park is great. With an exception, there is absolutely no Wi-Fi signal. No TV signal, no telephone signal. I know lots of people are gonna say. That's what they go camping for to get away from all that well, I'm not one of them. So just be aware that you won't have any of this, so bring books and a lot of DVD's.

We loved our 2 night stay here!Campground was immaculate & half full when we arrived in November. We had a site with a large cement pad, a very clean bbq grill, fire pit, round picnic table/chairs & a sliding comfortable patio chair for two! We especially loved the guest area where you could order food and relax with the other guests or take the food back to your campsite. Would love to come back & stay even longer!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Castroville Regional Park, and it was an amazing experience! The park is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and scenic environment. The campsites are spacious, and I loved how they’re equipped with picnic tables, fire pits, and plenty of space for tents or RVs. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The nearby Medina River was perfect for a relaxing afternoon, and there are plenty of hiking and biking trails to explore. I also appreciated the clean restrooms and showers, which made the experience much more convenient. Overall, Castroville Regional Park is a great choice for a family-friendly getaway or a peaceful retreat into nature. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We are seasoned and well traveled RVers for over 20 years and here are our thoughts and review of Arch Ray Resort. We booked two nights at Arch Ray Resort. While it was a very nice campground with level gravel sites it lacked in the resort aspect. We understand this is a new campground/resort and the amount of emails and phone calls we got to tell us so was a little annoying especially since none of those things are open. The email was very specific on checking in with gate guard to receive wristbands and packet. There is no gate guard and no gate. Luckily we knew the site number from our email confirmation so we just pulled to our site where a packet was attached. We knew the clubhouse and pool were not open as they are currently under construction in the site next door where the main campground will be. These sights seem to be for future short term camping potentially. Also there is no restrooms, shower house, laundry or anything made available. Also the trail to walk to the restaurant, brewery and distillery is not marked or not marked well as we only knew about it because of campground map. While the campground is nice and the sites are level the $29 resort fee should not have been charged as there are zero resort amenities at this time. The administration fee of $4.46 and the reservation guarantee of $14.58 to able to cancel should something arise are all excessive.
We enjoyed the restaurant, brewery and distillery and the food and drinks were good but as for staying at the campground/resort we will not be staying there again. This could have been a 5 star review
