Nature trails: Explore the equestrian trail at Lums Pond that encircles the entire pond for an easy but lengthy hike. "The trails were well marked, and the day we took a hike, we ended up on the equestrian trail that runs all the way around the pond. It was a long, but easy hike," explains Mark. Several additional walking paths branch from the main loop for shorter excursions.

Spacious sites: Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina offers waterfront camping with room to spread out. "Camped here at the end of summer, really loved it. Had our kayaks with us and the water wasn't but a few steps away. Some sites you are right on the waters edge," says Janet P. These premium sites provide views of Bush River with direct water access.
Clean facilities: Pinch Pond Family Campground maintains exceptional restrooms and common areas. "ENTIRE campground was extremely clean and tidy. The office and grounds keeping staff were super friendly and helpful," mentions Melissa Y. Bathhouses are cleaned daily with individual shower stalls for privacy.

"There are a lot of really neat and different rentals here like a tree house, double decker bus, among others," writes Jen R. "If I have one and only complaint it's the pool, it could use an upgrade and I wish they had actual lounge chairs rather than just plastic chairs to sit. However, unlike most campgrounds, the pool stayed open pretty late so that was a huge bonus for me," notes Melissa Y.
Animal encounters: Lake-In-Wood provides opportunities for children to interact with farm animals. "Goats to pet and watch. There are a lot of really neat and different rentals here like a tree house, double decker bus, among others. Nice playground for the kids and a small arcade," describes Jen R. "You have to drive through a residential neighborhood to reach Bar Harbor, so big rigs take care/caution," warns Craig Z. Leveling requirements: Many Kennett Square area RV sites require substantial leveling equipment. "Campground loses a star because the sites are pretty uneven. Not just the one we're on but others as well. The campground is pretty hilly and they don't seem to want to level out the sites," notes Sammii D. about Thousand Trails.
