    Wes Watkins Reservoir

    Good Camp, but Prison Bathrooms

It was cold when we visited so we had the entire tent campground to ourselves, which was good because of the bathroom situation. The toilets and shower are in individual alcoves, but much like prison there are no stall doors or curtains. I stood outside the ladies room to make sure my companion had privacy while she showered.

There's access to the reservoir for swimming and 15/night for tent campsites. I had no trouble scanning the QR code at the gate to pay for entry, but the payment page can be confusing because it's also used for sewer tax, traffic violations, and other local things.

    Okemah Lake

No personnel in the evening or after dark.

This place looks nice but beware. Vagrants and random folks drinking just pulled up in empty camp spot next to us. Vulgar language and loud music. There wasn’t anyone around to help so we left. A guy at boat ramp told us that there are only maintenance personnel and no law enforcement / ranger. Basically everyone just does their own thing. Will not go back.

    Bell Cow Lake Campground A

Very nice and quiet campground at Bell Cow Lake.

Really nice place with tent and RV sites close to the lake. All RV sites have shade, power and water. Unfortunately, there is no waste water dump. Very attractive price.

    Oklahoma City East KOA

    Noisy tent area

The restrooms with shower were nice. Private stall with keypad entry. Noisy as I heard a lot of motorcycles up and down the highway next to the campground

    KOA Campground Checotah

    Keep on going

I only have one good thing to say about this place. The girl that checked us in was very nice. The pictures are extremely deceiving from the KOA website. This property needs a ton of work. I struggled to even walk my dogs around. I wanted to do laundry but they only had one working washing machine and it stunk and half the dryers didn't work. I would not recommend this KOA to anyone.

    Clovis Point

This is the nicest campground of the two parks

This is really a nice campground with nice sized spots. All amenities, straight view of the lake. And far away from a road. It's a bit of a drive to get back to it, but I'm guessing it is less utilized by the locals and has more space available during the summer.

Okmulgee & Dripping State Park Campground

I am at Hickory Point Campground

So far, there are 3 campgrounds in this area. One blackjack, 5 spots RV. The second one is red oak. Lots of spots r v hookups. The third one is, this 1 called Hickory point. Adorable spots around the outside. Hook ups fifty amp, thirty amp and a bathroom that is ancient and really needs replacement.

    Garyito Point

Quiet primitive spot under the oaks

This is a small primitive campground. With about 15 sites first, come first. Serve water two toilets access to a beach access to a boat ramp and a fishing dock. Pretty rustic, but probably quite nice in the summer. Under the trees, the bathrooms could use some serious upgrades and are in pretty rough shape. But maybe they take better care of them in the summer.
