Best RV Parks & Resorts near Depew, OK

Several RV parks near Depew provide full hookup options with varying site configurations. Oak Glen RV & Mobile Home Park in Chandler offers RV sites with 50-amp electrical service, water, sewer, and trash removal, situated on Highway 66. Tulsa RV Ranch in Beggs maintains 106 sites with 30/50-amp service, water, and sewer hookups, open year-round on mostly level sites. "We paid extra for a premium site with high speed internet WiFi connection, trash pickup & other perks because my husband wanted to stream college football games, and the WiFi was great," noted one visitor about a nearby park. Ozark Trail RV Park provides 27 sites with electric, water, and sanitary dump facilities, while Happy Acres RV Park & Campground features 62 pull-through and back-in sites with both 30 and 50-amp service.

Pull-through sites dominate the area's RV accommodations, though pad surfaces vary considerably from concrete to gravel to dirt. Most parks provide sanitary dump stations when full sewer hookups aren't available at individual sites. Cell service through major carriers remains consistent throughout the region. A recent review mentioned that "the sites are on a slight decline but pull through and we were able to make them level with our blocks." Though many parks accommodate pets, specific rules vary by location. Several parks like Whitetail Woods RV Park and Bell Creek RV Park have reserved spaces for long-term stays. During football season and holidays, occupancy rates increase substantially and advance reservations become essential.

    Lake Carl Blackwell

    Relaxing time

We reserve two sites side by side in the beaver cove campground. The sites are on a slight decline but pull through and we were able to make them level with our blocks. The sides have enough room for the grandkids to roam around it besides for electric and water only but offered a view of the lake and we're close by a swim area. The trees at the sides provided adequate shade for the afternoon sun and the campground offered boat ramps couple of swim areas and on-site store for gas and supplies including and after hours vending machine with propane tanks and charcoal and s'mores supplies. The dump station provided slots for three RVs at one time and well thought out. The crap ground offers hiking bicycle and horse trails that cover a large area. Wildlife was abundant with plenty of deer and Canadian geese and squirrels. The campgrounds offer some annual sites for long-term visits but there is a waiting list to be on that.

The RV Park at Keystone Lake

    Great New Park

This is a brand new park with full hookups, easy access and easy parking. Streets & parking areas are blacktopped and pretty level. There is a nice, well-stocked convenience store on with ice, firewood, food, propane, a few fishing supplies and gift shop. Park personnel are very friendly & helpful, and there is a nice silo-style pavilion where the owners are going to be adding events & entertainment in the future. A small laundry is across the street from the store.

We paid extra for a premium site with high speed internet WiFi connection, trash pickup & other perks because my husband wanted to stream college football games, and the WiFi was great. Had 50 amp hookup, water & sewer and a gravel parking spot for extra vehicle next to the RV spot. All in all, a great stay.

I enjoyed this place, but couldn’t give it a 5 star review for a couple of reasons. One, there was only one area where a charcoal grill was available, by the pavilion in the center of the park. There were no trash containers or ash cans around there so we had to truck our food & cooking trash back to the rv and had to pour water over the coals & leave the mess in the cooker (which I hated to do). Second reason was the water hookup. My brother in law drove the RV in & hooked it up for us, which was a good thing. The water hookup is under the ground like a water meter location, and both my husband & myself have physical limitations that prevent us from getting on our knees to reach under the ground for hookups. If there was a tall spigot with hose hookup available where you could hook up from a standing position that would make it much easier for old folks like us!

    Walnut Creek Recreation Area Campground

    Beautiful affordable campsite

We stayed one night in October with our 22' airstream. Marion the host was welcoming and check in was easy. Beautiful small RV area overlooking lake. Electric sites, no water, some pull through. Close to town. Only $20 a night, would definitely stay again. Went to the Omaha Zoo and it was great!

    Overnight Stay

We stayed one night in November. Easy on/off, though the service road isn’t in good shape. We were in site 13, closest to the highway along with two cabins and the playground. Extremely noisy so if traffic bothers you request a site towards the back. Lots of trees. Our site was also close to the toilets and showers which were very clean. Shower stalls are private with a door and a curtain but the stalls are very shallow. Don’t leave anything on the floor in the outer area or it will get wet. There is a very shallow bench to put your items on but not meant for sitting. Two hooks to hang your items which is appreciated. No lock on the bathroom door. Pull through 50 amp. We’re towing a 28ft Airstream and it was level enough we didn’t need to unhitch. Listed as a gravel site but more dirt than gravel. Full hook ups, no cable, limited wifi. $44.50 a night. The swing in the playground desperately needs some WD-40, lol. We would overnight here again if needed.

    Tulsa RV Ranch

Don’t recommend if you need amenities

I would not recommend this park. Bathrooms are filthy- trash on the floor, clogged toilet for days, showers have pink mold. We asked if we could use their cleaning supplies and never got a response however the next day someone was “cleaning. I use “” because the trash in the women’s showers, mold, soap scum, hair dye, and general dirt was still there. Toilets and sinks weren’t cleaned properly. We had to use their facilities and paid for a week stay (they offer no refunds) so we were stuck unfortunately. The google reviews are very untrue. Not sure who wrote them but that’s what we went off of. If you have a big rig and don’t need amenities and don’t care about overflowing dumpsters then it’ll be a fine stay. Lot of long term trailers. The kids were nice though and my boys enjoyed playing on the playground with them. We had the only space with a giant puddle upon arriving that never did dry up and then it rained 😅

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Keystone Lake

Absolutely would not recommend Jellystone RV Park at Keystone Lake.

We called ahead and clearly explained we needed a full hookup site to test out our motorhome before a major trip. We were also told they had a playground and asked to be placed as close to it as possible. We confirmed that checkout was at 11 AM and were told if we needed a late checkout, it would be an additional$20.

When we arrived, we were one of the only guests there, yet they still insisted on charging a late checkout fee. Even worse— the site they gave us had only 30 amp electric hookup— no water, no sewage hookup— despite what we were promised over the phone. The“playground” was a complete joke: no swings, no slides— just a small metal structure with a few steps. Nothing like what is pictured or advertised. When we asked for a refund because the site was not what we were promised, the older woman at the front desk laughed and said,“It’s raining, the kids can’t play anyway,” and refused to refund us.

She offered a“credit toward a future stay,” which we obviously declined. There are only THREE sites in the entire park with full hookups, and they are right at the front gate next to the train tracks. As a military family(my husband is a disabled combat vet), it’s also worth noting they do not offer any military discount. Between the poor service, false advertising, and complete lack of accommodations, this place is wildly overpriced and absolutely not worth the three-hour drive we made to get there.

0/10 recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else. We left and stayed down the road by Pier 51 instead— a much better experience.

    Bell Cow Lake Campground C

    Very Peaceful & Not Crowded

Campground C area offers many pull through RV sites and some back-in RV sites, all with electric & water hook ups. There is also equestrian RV sites with pens, tent camping with shared water spigots, primitive tent camping and a dump station. There are miles of equestrian trails. Hiked down one and the trail was very peaceful and beautiful. It had recently rained a lot, so I had a thick layer of red mud on my shoes from the hike, but glad I hiked it. There are bathrooms with showers, a swim beach, a volleyball court, pavilions, a boat ramp, and plenty of wildlife. Lake is calm & shallow, so it is best for small boats and kayaks. There were plenty of flies due to the time of year and the presence of horses, so a good fly swatter and a fly trap is recommended. Found a small cemetery on the drive to the campsite with some very old grave sites. In all, it was a great place to escape from the real world and relax.

Connectivity options: Access to reliable internet ranks high among RVers' priorities. "We paid extra for a premium site with high speed internet WiFi connection, trash pickup & other perks because my husband wanted to stream college football games, and the WiFi was great," reports a visitor to The RV Park at Keystone Lake.

What you should know

Site levelness varies: Many Depew area RV sites require some adjustment. "Our spot was a pull-through, not completely level, but that wasn't a problem for us. The campground was clean and very comfortable. The only downside is the red dirt that is easy to track into your camper, Its Oklahoma," explains a camper at Oak Glen RV & Mobile Home Park.

Basic amenities: Some parks offer minimal facilities but serve well for overnight stays. "This RV park is a no frills park located in Okemah, Oklahoma. It was 5 minutes from I-40 in a very green setting," writes a visitor to Pine Tree RV Park.

Heated facilities: For cooler weather camping, look for parks with temperature-controlled amenities. "Bathrooms heated," notes a camper at Oak Glen RV & Mobile Home Park, an important consideration for family comfort during spring or fall visits.

Welcome amenities: Some parks offer special touches to enhance the stay. "We were received with a smile as well as a free coffee cup. In my many years of rv travels I can't recall a time when I was given a better reception," reports a visitor to Happy Acres RV Park & Campground.

Tips from RVers

Hookup accessibility: Some parks have underground utility connections that may challenge those with mobility limitations. "The water hookup is under the ground like a water meter location, and both my husband & myself have physical limitations that prevent us from getting on our knees to reach under the ground for hookups," cautions a visitor at The RV Park at Keystone Lake.

Extra vehicle parking: Many travelers appreciate designated space for additional vehicles. "Sites are spacious level and easily accessible. They have a large dog park, good parking and area for additional parking for extra vehicles, boats, and such," notes a camper at The RV Park at Keystone Lake.

Long-term history: Some rv campgrounds near Depew, Oklahoma feature interesting historical connections. "Bob's family acquired the land in the Land run and have kept the 160 acres ever since. A little out of the way, but still a favorite of ours," explains a visitor to Brixey Lake RV Park.
