Best RV Parks & Resorts in Oklahoma

Oklahoma State Parks accommodate RV camping at multiple locations with full hookup options. Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park and Beaver's Bend State Park offer spacious sites with 30-50 amp electrical service, while Foss State Park provides both water and sewer connections across its campground loops. Territory Route 66 RV Park features 18 designated sites with both 30 and 50 amp electrical hookups alongside standard water and sewer connections. Most parks maintain level concrete pads suitable for larger recreational vehicles, though site spacing varies significantly between locations. Natural Falls State Park provides particularly accessible concrete pads for RVs of various sizes. "Easy access, flat concrete pads, quiet. Scenic walks to waterfall. Friendly gal at registration. Well maintained," noted one visitor about Natural Falls.

Several Oklahoma RV parks remain open year-round, with Black Mesa State Park and Lake Thunderbird offering reliable access during winter months. Dump stations are available at most state parks, though some smaller facilities may have limited capacity during peak seasons. Road noise impacts certain campgrounds, particularly those near Interstate 35 or railroad tracks. Cell service quality varies significantly across the state, with stronger reception near Oklahoma City and weaker signals in remote western locations. Pets are generally permitted at Oklahoma RV parks with standard leash requirements. Many campgrounds feature basic amenities like picnic tables and fire rings, while electrical hookup amperage varies between locations. Reservations are strongly recommended during summer months and holiday weekends when occupancy rates increase substantially.

    Mustang Run RV Park

    Great for an overnight stay

Mustang run isn’t to far from Oklahoma City off I-40 and is locally owned. Also close to State fair. It is at the end of a lane next to a hotel. You can hear lots of traffic from the interstate. It has 2 dog runs, storm shelters, pool, playground, laundry, and nice clubhouse. So everything you might need. There are pull through sites and back in. The sites are concrete so level. They are full hook ups with cable and wi-fi. There are no tent sites here. The nightly rate is $49 but they do except Good Sam discount. They also have weekly and monthly rates.

By The Lake RV Park & Resort

    Sweet Resort Style Camping

This is a great family owned RV resort with easy access,.8 miles, to and from I-35 via exit 24 about halfway between Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Dallas Texas; absolutely no interstate noise. Beautiful country setting among the rolling hills and just a mile and a half from the entrance to Lake Murray State Park offering water activities on the centerpiece 5,278 surface acre Lake Murray, 18 hole golf, picnicking, fishing, camping, trail riding, hayrides, 30 miles of hiking, swimming, miniature golf, 100 acres of ATV trails, several marinas and more. Turkey Pass — Lake Thunderbird State Park

    Great spot

50 amp, water, sewer dump station on the way out, concrete pad, picnic table under the shade tree, fire pit, 5g T-Mobile cell service. Trees need to be trimed from the campground, you will get your rig scratched. We have a 40 foot fifthwheel and was able to find several sites that would work fot sat dish. Sites are not on top of each other. Lots of places for walks and the boat launch is just down the hill. We will stay here again, just hope they trim the trees.

    Rocky Point (ft Gibson)

    Beautiful Lake Shore Campground

Ft Gibson Lake near Wagoner Oklahoma offers six class A campgrounds for RV and tent camping, six marinas, multiple boat ramps on 19,990 surface acres of lake with 225 miles of shoreline. Our visit was to Rocky Point COE with a gated/staffed entry station, multiple camp hosts, day use areas, boat ramps, interior paved roads, RV concrete pads, large table, fire ring, grill, lantern holder, 50/30/15 amp electric and water on class A sites plus tent camping sites complete with shelters, tables, fire rings, grills, dispersed water spigots. The campground had a dump station, bath house and several trash receptacles. Most sites were on the water or had a water view and adequately spaced to enjoy the amazing sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed site 2A which was a level pull through and big rig friendly. The rocky shoreline is a birders paradise...we had an eagle, three Great Blue Herons and plentiful hawks to name a few. The town of Wagoner has all the essentials to include grocery, fuel, dining and yes, Walmart. Verizon cell coverage was 1- 2 bars. The America The Beautiful Senior Pass is good for 50% camping discount. Recommend a look at Google Maps to plan your route into the campground from Oklahoma Hwy 69 as Garmin and Google are a little wacky. Just follow the signs!! 8568 STATE HWY. 251A, Wagoner, OK 74434 GPS- 36.027978,-95.314844

    Lake Carl Blackwell

    Relaxing time

We reserve two sites side by side in the beaver cove campground. The sites are on a slight decline but pull through and we were able to make them level with our blocks. The sides have enough room for the grandkids to roam around it besides for electric and water only but offered a view of the lake and we're close by a swim area. The trees at the sides provided adequate shade for the afternoon sun and the campground offered boat ramps couple of swim areas and on-site store for gas and supplies including and after hours vending machine with propane tanks and charcoal and s'mores supplies. The dump station provided slots for three RVs at one time and well thought out. The crap ground offers hiking bicycle and horse trails that cover a large area. Wildlife was abundant with plenty of deer and Canadian geese and squirrels. The campgrounds offer some annual sites for long-term visits but there is a waiting list to be on that.

    Little River Park

    Nice park

We stayed in G4 in a 42 ft fifth wheel. Sat worked great as there are no trees blocking Dish. T Mobile was 5 bars 4g lte. Sites have 30 amp, picnic table, fish cleaning table and water. Make sure you come with lots of water hose, i needed about 60 feet. Our site backs in sideways and offers a fantastic view from the inside. There is a dump station on the way out that is too tight for my rig. I will dump my gray/black somewhere else. The are a few full hookups with 30/50 amps in H section at the top of the hill. There are some 50 amp on the lake in section H but they do not have sewer. All sites are by reservation only at this time. The sites are mostly level but vary greatly once away fron the pad, it is a lake so expect some hills.
