"This beautiful small state park is only a half hour away from my house. It's close enough that we ho for a week several times a year and I can still drive to work daily. We love the sites lakeside."
"You are close together and no privacy like they have at other ohio state parks. I was able to snag a site on the water same day. Bathhouse is dated but clean and stocked."
"It's been raining and our step out is into mud. To be expected in the area during the winter. If it isn't snow covered, it's muddy. They have a little pizza shop and are right by Gilford Lake."
"This was another way for us to social distance as COVID-19 was still an issue. I also took photos of the camping bathrooms as each KOA does it a little differently."

"This location is pretty great, especially since it's very close to Pittsburgh. You can go canoeing, hiking, swimming, and camping! There is even a nice snack bar during the summer!"

Family owned an operated. The owner is very pleasant, great person to talk to.. communication is great.
No reservations needed. There is always primitive space available. With a good bit of full hookups available aswell. Pool, sauna, hot tub, picnic tables, scheduled entertainment throughout the summer. Always a blast
Nice little place that’s open Friday was very pleasant during the day and most of the night. Reason for mark down is due to the trains that came through in the night and it must’ve been trash day in Harmony as we heard dumpster being banged around in the early hours of the morning. No problem parking all 45’ of or rig and trailer. Easy access to town and Pittsburgh. No WiFi and you have to call to book.
Pymatuning Lake Campground is a huge 700 site family oriented campground. Sites are large and clean and your not packed in. Bathrooms and showers are OK but they are clean. Best part of being here is the awesome fishing. Know for huge black crappie, walleye, and small and big mouth bass. This is the place to go fishing.
First time here. They told me Ohio State Parks were voted #1 in the US. Well there is a reason for that. Beautiful, clean, great spots, not a bad site in the entire park. Wood is dry and cheap right outside the park entrance. Bass fishing is top notch on the lake. I would definitely come back here again and again.
Like this place it is close to home easy to get in and out pulling a camper the activity were not opened yet but when they are I bet it is a great place
Site was pre-season opening (although no discount - almost $80/night), so there was construction during our stay. Rains resulting in site flooding - the gravel pad was fine, but had to wade into the mud & water to get to utilities for the trailer.
Dumpsters were overflowing and campground sent email to inform campers they would have to haul out their own trash.
Biggest disappointment was lack of EV charging options at this site. Didn't see the "No Charging" rule on their website when signing up, or we would have gone elsewhere.
Won't return.
Spend one night here on our way to Ohio. Owner was very friendly and allowed me to charge my Rivian onsite (I offered to pay for the extra power).
Pad was level and utilities were well located.
Check-in & check-out were seamless.
The site amenities are dated, but it is a pretty cool campground!
We would definitely return for longer!
We came off season. Bathrooms are updated and gorgeous. Beautiful lake setting

Water fill stations: Raccoon Creek State Park Campground has design issues with water connections. This was okay for a short weekend but not good planning from who ever designed the park."
