Good location

Clean campground close to TRNP and Medora. The pool was closed when we were there after Memorial Day in near 100 deg heat. Spots are CLOSE together. It looked like some RV awnings were touching the RV next door. They weren't but it looked that closed. The staff was awesome. Access to Little…

Never again

We couldn’t find the check in place and no one knew where to check in. We get to check in and have to drive around to find the RV spaces. They were so close together. The sewer connection didn’t work. We had to back up so close to the next row, it was nerve racking. The casino is walking distance,…

Medora Campground - Close enough to bike into town!

We recently stayed at Medora Campground.  It was too early in the season to catch the Musical however we rode our bikes into town,  the local bike shop was great, and was able to fix my husband's bike!  The Campground itself is on the small side as far as sites go but they are pull-through which…

Free & Easy

Easy access off Hwy 2. We were there in first week of June & had place to ourselves, but there are MANY sites, most on the reservoir. Not a walking or swimming beach, but lots of birds & waterfowl, and gophers! Grass sites & trees, pit toilets & that’s it.

Great site off the beaten path

This site was very scenic and secluded, with trees between the sites making them much more private. Great hiking nearby, and only a couple other people there on a weekend in June. Great option if other sites are booked. $10 cash.

Nice campground, small sites

We enjoyed Medora Campground! The sites were quite small but we spent the majority of our time in town, in the National park, or at the musical. There was construction, to expand the campground, while we were there so that was loud and noisy. Bathrooms and showers were clean.

Small town park!

What a gem! Off the beaten path but on our way to see the sights so convenient. 7 spots across from the park. 30/50 amp electric with water and dump. Water was not turned on when we were here. Bar and a restaurant a short walking distance away. Post office and city hall across the street. Lion's…

Fall is a wonderful time.

Quick overnight stay. According to the ranger 7 total campers in the state park. Very quiet to say the least. Two cold to paddle board.
