Party campground

We stayed at site q4 which was significantly unlevel. The lots are paved And it had a lot of gulleys that I will try to demonstrate through pics. It leaned towards the hookups plus the gulleys. It was so bad that we had to rehitch and move more towards the center of the already small lot. Lots of…

Beautiful Campground

Checked in late so had to figure out where to go without a map, I was on site 21 which is the sites right after the Lean-To's. Pulled up to the site and you come down a little hill and you get a picnic table and a fire ring along with a big spacious site! Ground is pretty level here and had minimal…

Cool sites to see, slightly clustered

Nice sunny spot, clean facilities, right next to a bike path that takes you directly to the beach which is about a 20 minute walk. Campsites clustered a bit and a lot of families.

Nice family state campground

Nice facilities, most of the walking trails would have been much for our little guy. It would be an awesome place to have bikes and cruise around. Nice beaches, an awesome playground, and you’re super close to Lewes and Rehoboth beach towns. We loved exploring them. Pretty pricey for a weekday we…

Shaded camping with beach access

Great campground with lots to offer for families with children. Nice walking and biking trails. Trails and campground well maintained. Several beach access points and nice fishing pier. Nature center, historic military structures and watch towers. Very nice playground designed for varying ages and…

Very large camp sites, near to lake, very clean, bathrooms and showers

A beautiful camping area that is affordable, each site is very large, very clean and well maintained, bathrooms and showers 24/7. The camp ground area is very large and signed extremely well making finding your campsite easy. Bathrooms and showers can be a hike. If you can bring a portable toilet,…

Very nice camp sites. Pool looked amazing but it rained the entire weekend. Very friendly staff. Bath houses were extremely clean. Camp Store had a lot of supplies if needed.

Planning to return every year!

This was our inaugural trip with our new trailer! We were super excited to stay at Cape Henlopen because we had visited our cousins the year before, which is what got us hooked into the camper life!

We stayed in Row D - was a great location- nearest the cabins.

The play ground area is great -…

Go somewhere else

I do not recommend this campground. From overpriced nothing special sites. To super tight streets. No campsite WiFi. Cable does not have any channels. Sites are nothing special. Security will knit pick rules and make new ones as weekend goes on. Changed noise time from 11pm to 1030 on Memorial Day…

Horrible experience

After coming to this site with a group of friends over the weekend. I was shocked to see how the manager handled another large group that was there. She claimed they were disrespectful and loud. It was a large group but they were very respectful and not being loud at the slightest (no loud…

Overall love and will be back

Great beach and bike bike paths. We could have spent so much longer here and explored

4 stars because of how close together the sites are. Especially the inner tents of T loop.

G loop has more space over all

Super dog friendly

We brought our 2 weimaraners here for a couple years now. It's dog friendly with a dog friendly beach. Alot of the local restaurants are also dog friendly. This is a beautiful park with lots of walking trails . Some of the spots a kinda small so book accordingly.

This is an awesome camping destination

My husband and I went camping here a few years back. It's such a great place because it's near the beach, it has nice picnic spots and playground areas for children. There is a learning center where you can see different sea creatures. There is a fishing pier, it's close to outlet shopping and…

4-Star Camping Near the Beach

We stayed at Holly Shores for just a one-night getaway over Mother’s Day weekend.

The park was easy to find and located just a few minutes’ drive from Wildwood beaches and a few extra minutes to Cape May beaches and attractions. The entry gate was tight with no room to park while registering.…
