Reliable cellular service: Unlike more remote campgrounds, Lorraine Park Campground provides reliable cell coverage for those needing to stay connected. "I reliably had 1 bar AT&T while at the campsite, but more as I got closer to the bathhouse. The campground also wasn't too far from the grocery store and civilization," notes Katie O. Seasonal pet restrictions: Many state parks have limited pet access during peak season. "Tried to plan ahead this year and get a prime site to learn they don't allow dogs anywhere in the campground during summer months. Animal interactions: The Pine Campground features small farm animals children can visit. "Staff assisted to guide us into our space. 25' travel trailer, full hookups. Lot 6, backs onto a little creek. Nice to be at a non corporate campground, a few bruises, but overall great experience. Dog friendly, relaxed environment," shares mike B. The small petting area typically houses goats and occasionally other small animals.
Playground accessibility: Multiple campgrounds feature playgrounds, but location matters. "We picked a site down the road from the playground, if you have kids you may want to be closer.
