Parking Site

This is a plain dirt parking spot located walking distance to main part of town. The cell signal is great and I saw a security car loop around a couple times.

Remote, yet close to the city

We went here for our test run of our RV. Nice quiet area in great forest. Lots of hiking around, if you can find the loop. Electrical only. No water or sewer at the site.

Great !

We (family of 4) stayed here for two nights. Our 4 & 7 year old had a great time hiking the easy trails, fishing, exploring and chatting with other campers. Very close (1hr) to Seattle, but far enough to forget the city. Spaces were spread well, not cramped together. C.C.C. Trail access off…

Very small campground

Drove here on our way back from another campground in the area and decided to stop. Not very many campsites, maybe 8 at the most. If you have a trailer there is not much room to turn around. Lots of roads and trails to explore in the area and the river runs right next to the campground.

Very peaceful campground

Camped up here this weekend. It’s not the greatest road getting up there. For the most part the road isn’t bad but I was hauling a camper and a 20’ trailer with dirt bikes and quads so for me wasn’t the greatest. They have toilets here that were pretty clean and fresh water from a well pump. River…

A Great Convenient Location

We stayed at one of the 'dry' sites and were pleasantly surprised that we had water. Looks like they are finishing up installing the electric hook ups for the now currently dry sites. Some road noise but not too bad. Great trails along the Yakima River and a fun little playground for the kiddos (I…

Nice campground in the woods

I've stayed here many times over the years. I love how quiet and woodsy it is here. Lots of fun spots along the river to enjoy. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

Beautiful Grounds, but cramped!

I've been going to KOA's since I was a teenager and love them, now 29. This was our first time going to one in WA and I have to say I was sadly disappointed. Most of the RV sites are so tight and crammed together, people park in the road and leave their cars making it impossible to back in a camper…

Beautiful, clean camping near the city

This is a great campground with 30 amp hookups in certain loops. No city water hookup, but just filled our fresh water tank. There is a sewer dump outside the campground. Very clean bathrooms and showers.

Beautiful Getaway Close to Seattle

Loved Kanaskat Palmer. Stayed in spot 13 - each site seems to have a trail connecting to the outer trail that runs along the river. Big entertainment for three boys who explored the woods and played on the rocks and in the eddy pools at the public river take-out. Bathrooms are super nice - each is…

Great hiking! 30’ RV, dry camped

We went here in October and dry camped with our 30’ Motorhome so not the typical experience others would have in a true RV site. I only took away a star because it was advertised as ok for a Motorhome but the gravel pull through was so not level the jacks pushed the front tires 6 inches off the…
