With 45 sites spread along Hause Creek, this Forest Service campground accommodates RVs up to 74 feet and operates from late May through September. Reservations are available for sites 9-12, which sit directly against the river, while other sites are first-come, first-serve. The access road can be rough, and highway noise affects sites away from the water.
Sites vary considerably in privacy and river access. The four reservable sites along the water feature parking for two vehicles each and benefit from the creek's sound masking road noise. Site 12 offers the most privacy with level beach access, while site 9 provides the largest space for multiple tents. Upper sites deal with more highway noise but may have better cell reception. Stephanie S. notes that "hand sanitizer will remove pitch/sap from the pine trees."
The campground provides pit toilets that camp hosts keep clean and stocked, though there's no running water currently available. A utility substation runs through the middle of the campground, creating some ambient noise. Dogs must stay leashed, and excessive barking can result in removal. Fishing appears popular based on the number of anglers campers observe. For those exploring the broader region, campsites near Snoqualmie National Forest offer additional options.
This campground works best for RV travelers and car campers who prioritize creek access and don't mind highway proximity.
