Best Dog-Friendly Camping near Silsbee, TX

Shaded Waterfront RV spaces and fully furnished cabins. Quiet, safe, and peaceful park. Wifi, 90ft dock, and aluminum boats free for residents. Excellent fishing. Monthly rates include water, sewer, electricity, and trash. Large shaded spaces. Dog park. Within a few short miles of the local refineries. Less than eight miles to major stores. We have two local golf courses, Bayou Den Golf Course is approximately three miles away. Tyrell Park features a golf course, horseback riding, botanical gardens, and scenic boardwalks approximately five miles from the RV park.

Has a white sand spring fed swim area with a large slide and a trolley. Golf cart and pet friendly. Trails to walk on in the woods around several ponds. Has 30 and 50 amp connection's, sewer and water hook up. Tent and cabin camping also. Canoe rentals for catch and release fishing in ponds. No wifi. Ice and snow cones available from office.

Loved our off the grid stay by the pond with goats, puppies, pigs, a cat and chickens!

We stayed at this park while we were in our home base area for 2 months. The rv park is very nice. The staff and owners are great. The park is well maintained and has beautiful views. The laundry room is small but clean. The park just opened a store on grounds and it has just about anything you may have forgotten while shopping in town. The park is not very far from the local town for dining out and shopping. The two popular lakes are not that far of a drive either. The park sometimes has events that are very nice and the park occupants are welcomed. They also have a golf driving range, pool, and game room. There is also several ponds in the park where you can fish are just sit on the bench and enjoy the quiet view. There is also a concrete walk way all around the park that is great for walking your pets or even just taking a stroll for yourself. We will stay here each time we are in the area.

Very nice and quiet campground in East Texas.  Spent Thanksgiving here with wife, kids and dogs.  Beautiful creeks and "pipe fed" springs.  Need to look up the history on this.  Bathrooms could use a refurbish but given wet weather overall in good condition.  Warm showers.  No service with T Mobile but daughter had service with Verizon.

This place is the most unique and charming site to stay.  We were greeted by gentle giant dogs (and a few neighbor dogs), a few goats, cute kids, and horses.  Woke up to a pig grunting which we found utterly adorable.  There is a great... I mean "Insane Sausage" place up the road you wont' want to miss.  Loved this place and would stay again.

Came here overnight. Very nice place. Even pads, clean family environment. We were across from pool in the pull thru for big rigs. There's a dog area. Showers and laundry available. Beaumont is within 5 miles.

It was just ok. The spot was almost all soggy so hard to let the dogs out without all of us getting waterlogged. Lots of highway noise and no one in the office.

Nice park but RIGHT on I-10 and the highway noise is bad. Awesome laundry and bathroom facilities. Lovely lounge area beautiful lake and a nice little beach. Sites are large, concrete, with picnic tables and they are level. Staff is very nice and this is a dog friendly park.

This campground has alot of older people that live here. Has a pool, a dog run. The sites are fairly close together, cannot have a fire 🔥 at all unless it's in your grill. All sites are pull through, with full hookups. Has spotty wifi and cable. Overall it's a decent place.

This location, the hosts, the animals and ponds all place you in a calm cocoon. My dog was thrilled to be allowed of leash. I loved the convenience of having electric and a beautiful pond view.

If you are an animal lover this is an easy 'yes' for a liason to stay.

Right off I-10. Roads inside park are large enough to all rig sizes. Our site had dog poop over it when we arrived so they do not check the sites before you arrive. The pad is buried into the ground which cause hills into the grass. A great way to break an ankle. It also caused a hill for the sewer hose to run uphill. Tire ruts along the pads have not been filled in.

This site is a good place to rest and recover for a few days. Most of the people are residents but there were plenty of empty spots. People are friendly and helpful. The washer/dryer area is small and so is the shower. There’s not a lot to see and do which was fine with us as we had been boondocking on the beach and needed to get ourselves and our rv cleaned. It is inexpensive and dog friendly.

This is a Chambers County Texas park.  They have several and they provide a great location for enjoying the plains of Texas.  This particular park is really more like a fairground area.  There is a lot of concrete where you may park.  There is a great playground area and green space.  There are several electric and water hookups but they are NOT for campers.  They are for the vendors when the county has an event.  Do not park on the grass and you must be self contained.  No water but there is a bathroom and it was open when we were there.  You must get a permit to stay for a small fee but the camping is free and you may stay three days.
