The area presently offers 1 gatehouse/entrance, 2 park attendant campsites, 79 public campsites with full water and electric hookups, 6 comfort stations (4 with showers), 1 dump station, 1 boat ramp, 1 courtesy dock, 3 playgrounds, 1 designated swim area/beach, and associated paved roads and parking areas throughout.

Fishing is one of the most popular activities at the lake. Sought-after species include largemouth bass, bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass and hybrid bass.   
  
The lake appeals to boaters of all kinds, whether their specialty is canoeing, sailing or motor boating. Coves and areas of quiet water provide water skiers with excellent surfaces.   
  
Swimmers will find sand beaches and designated swim areas along the shoreline.

MUST BE RESERVED A MINIMUM OF TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE OF ARRIVAL DATE. Crescent Group Campground is a 41 acre site located on a narrow peninsula with gentle slopes and a scattered tree cover of pine and mixed hardwoods. The campground is specifically designated for group camping, consisting of two separate reservable loops. The site presently offers 2 park attendant/volunteer host campsites, 10 campsites on Loop A and 22 campsites on Loop B with full water and electric hookups, 2 standard shelters with water and electric service (1 on each loop), 2 comfort stations (1 with showers), 1 dump station, 1 playground, and associated paved and gravel roads and parking areas throughout. No boat ramp or courtesy dock is available at this site.

Coneross Campground is located on the Seneca River arm of the northern end of Hartwell Lake in South Carolina. Spanning parts of South Carolina and Georgia, Hartwell Lake is one of the largest and most visited public recreation lakes in the Southeast. It comprises nearly 56,000 acres of water and has a shoreline of 962 miles. Natural Features: The lake shore is thickly forested with mostly pine, and the lake itself is large with many inlets and coves to explore. Numerous species of birds call this area home, including waterfowl, shorebirds, woodland birds and even the occasional peregrine falcon and bald eagle. Recreation: Fishing is one of the most popular activities at the lake. Sought-after species include largemouth bass, bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass and hybrid bass. The lake appeals to boaters of all kinds, whether their specialty is canoeing, sailing or motor boating. Coves and areas of quiet water provide water skiers with excellent surfaces. Swimmers will find sand beaches and designated swim areas along the shoreline. Facilities: Coneross boasts sweeping views of Hartwell Lake. This campground has a total of 105 sites, most of which have water and electric hookups. Twelve are non-hookup, primitive sites. All of the sites are spacious and mostly shaded. Amenities include a boat ramp with courtesy dock, dump station, restrooms with showers and a playground. Sleep under the stars here at Denver Downs Farm! Set up your tent or camper in secluded area on the treelined side of our 140 acre field.  Take a hike to the top of the hill and take in panoramic views of sunsets and the surrounding blue ridge mountains.   There are loads of scenic trails to hike and waterfalls to visit just  20 -30 minutes drive away.   We’re just 1 mile from Lake Hartwell  and 20 miles from Lake Keowee so access to water sports are readily available.  There are many restaurants within 1 mile of our farm.  You are in the country- but close to “everything”  – we are 1 mile off of Interstate 85.  Clemson University is 11 miles up Clemson Boulevard.  We host special events year round including our annual Fall Festival and fantastic concerts.  Get tickets to those events and stay for the weekend!
