The campground features electric hookups, drinking water, picnic tables, and a sanitary dump station that accommodates both tent and RV campers with their pets. Nearby, Toledo East-Stony Ridge KOA in Perrysburg also allows pets and offers additional accommodation options including pet-friendly cabins. Both locations maintain clean bathroom facilities with White Star Park's bathing facilities specifically noted for cleanliness. Several service plazas along the Ohio Turnpike provide convenient overnight pet-friendly parking options for travelers. Blue Heron and Wyandot service plazas offer designated RV lots where pets are permitted, with Blue Heron featuring nesting areas for its namesake birds that patient pet owners might spot while walking dogs. "The park was close to empty so arriving early was not an inconvenience. We drove ourselves to our spot (no escort).
Our site was shaded with lots of trees.""We stayed in a pull thru site which we felt was a really nice size and was wishing the weather was better so we could enjoy some outside time. The bathhouse was nice, clean, and updated."
$41 - $56 / night
"Just a short walk or bike ride to Lake Erie via a paved path. I highly recommend taking a bike, as there are so many trails and paths to ride throughout the park."
"This park is close to Toledo and within spitting distance of several refineries although you’d never know it! "
"Nice little campground just outside of the small town of Gibsonburg Ohio. Great stopping point on a cross country road trip. Very quiet. Basic but nice facilities. Showers and bathrooms. Fire pits."
"This is a little ways off the beaten path but it’s worth it, especially for the price. Very clean and green!"
$31 - $90 / night
"A great campground in Ohio. So clean and so many things to do. Campsites are close together but they do honor quiet hours. Great trail around the lake and a fun and challenging disc golf course."
"this is probably my favorite park in Ohio . it’s always clean people are so friendly and the lake is just beautiful !"
"Highway stop is open 24 hrs so you have food and bathrooms all night. Everything is bright, nice and clean and feels very safe."

"This campground was family friendly, dog friendly, and very clean. About 30 minutes from cedar point."
"We did stay in a Travel Trailer next to seasonal campers and they were very kind and helpful. The lot size was ok...not spacious but not as small as I've experienced."
$35 / night
"It had a nice playground for kids and plenty of trails to hike or go horseback riding. They also had a dog park and small wildflower garden. The check in cabin had ice and wood for sale but no store."
"It has tons of trails and a pond. There are a few places to car camp or RV camp nearby. I love getting out of town and visiting Van Buren State Park, and I have lots of good memories."

This campground has been wonderfully updated! The owners have added in an additional playground, dog park, newly paved roadways, newly redone building, a new pavilion, fire pit, and boat parking! We love camping here every chance we get! It is convenient to the turnpike and Cedar Point is just a few miles away!

Nice little campground just outside of the small town of Gibsonburg Ohio. Great stopping point on a cross country road trip. Very quiet. Basic but nice facilities. Showers and bathrooms. Fire pits.
We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back. Both times at the end of September. Nice campground, friendly staff, store is well stocked for anything you may have forgotten. The playground and jump mat for kids is awesome. They usually have some kind of activity for kids on weekends. We travel with 2 large Labrador retrievers and love being able to let them play off leash in the kamp k9 dog park. The sites are a little close together and the train is loud but other than that, it’s a wonderful place to stay. Very close to Cedar Point.
We stayed at this campground in the group camp area. The sites are tight but do provide water and 30 amp electric.
The campground offers a pond for fishing , swimming pool , bounce pad , inflatable lake fun, dog park and mini golf.
Since we were there as a group event we didn’t use any of the extras but it all looked nice and clean plus lots of fun.
Cell coverage was spotty but you could usually get some kind of signal.
The campground has a lot of seasonal sites as well as primitive tent camping and standard rv sites.
This is our second time camping here and both times were for a group camping event. For this type of event it’s a great park. We had a whole sector the event with water and electric sites.
If we were going to camp here on our own I am not sure I would like it since it’s mostly set up for seasonal campers. So there are no hiking trail and there is also a lot of golf cart traffic.
They do offer a swimming pool , pond with inflatable slides , dog park , bound pad and miniature golf.
We stayed one night on our way to IN. We’ve never been here before and wanted to check it off our list. It’s a small campground with one side as equestrian and the other side not. All sites had electric and water, no full hookup. There were only drop toilets and no showers. They were clean but I don’t think I’d want to do more than a weekend there. It had a nice playground for kids and plenty of trails to hike or go horseback riding. They also had a dog park and small wildflower garden. The check in cabin had ice and wood for sale but no store. Our site was really nice. The pads were recently paved and had a huge bumper at the end. The fire ring was nice and the site had plenty of space for tents.
The camping area is nice. It is a little open for our like but there good activities you can do with the kids or pets.
