What you should know
Hookup locations: At some sites, utilities may require extended connections. "Electric pedestal has 20, 30, & 50 amp. Sites on outer perimeter have water and electric, just bring enough hose and cords to hook up... they are on shared pedestals," notes Lawrence P. at Kentucky Dam Village.
Bathroom conditions vary: Facility quality differs between campgrounds. "Bathhouse has seen better days, dead mosquito's inside, showers hot, but kinda grungy. Dead fish around the beach leave the area smelling foul," Paul B. reports about one location.
