I’ll be coming back .

Nice, at the lake but not on the lake. There’s no swimming. No reservations. Friendly staff, nice sites, 54 full hook up, 6 no hookups

Beautiful falls

Campground up the road from the main day use area with the falls. Absolutely gorgeous. The walk to the falls is super easy and accessible. Other hikes around too. Campground is pretty basic but nice.

Family and Adult Group Friendly Campground in Beautiful Surroundings

I’m a full-time RVer, and I typically stay about a month at each campground. I was at five River Campground for the entire month of June, and it was great!!! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The electric, sewer, and water hook ups work well, and the RV sites are fairly level. Picture…

Cabin 58

Swallow Falls has a great loop trail where you see four waterfalls. You can walk to the loop from the campground. It ma be adds a third of a mile to the hike.

We stayed in cabin 58, which has a short, easy path to the bathhouse and even shorter to the mud sink. This was very handy when…

Perfect First Trip

This was our first trip with our new fifth wheel. The owners were super friendly & accommodating. They gave great sight seeing advice also! Our spot was right on the river where the kids could fish & play. We will be back if we’re ever in the area again!

Absolute Gem! Great Owners

We are full-time in a 40' class A with our 2 kids & 2 English Bulldogs and this campground is one of our favorites yet! John, the owner, greeted us when we entered and we left feeling like old friends. He and his wife do a phenomenal job with the upkeep of the campground. We loved how simple it…

Great location

A large group of us camped in the section that was a little secluded along the river. Easy put-ins for canoes and kayaks. Great flat spots. Felt a world away--yet close to some of the best outdoor recreation in the country!

Beautiful and peaceful. Worth the drive!

Site Details: We stayed on site#40 in the Garrett Loop. It is one of only three FHU sites in this loop(the rest are primitive tent sites). The site was level, spacious, beautifully shaded, and convenient to the bath house. In fact, almost every site on the inside of the loop had its own little…

The friendliest campsite☺️

Imagine being greeted by a happy Golden Retriever upon entering your next campsite..need I say more?

The hosts of this camp provide drinking water and warm hospitality. On our second night after taking a HOT shower in one of the lodges we were offered a warm meal and even warmer company from one…

Unique "Dispersed" Camping

Stayed: 9/6/2020 - FREE

Site: Left fire pit facing toilet

This campground is the equestrian Kinderhook Trailhead within Wayne National Forest.

I didn't know what to expect for a dispersed campground at a trailhead. We pulled in and there was one couple setup at a designated site (picnic…

Great for families

I gave it a 5 star for many reasons. First the campground is clean and made us feel like we were in a forest not just a campground. Secondly, the tent sites were completely level with no need to worry about rolling down a hill in my sleep, I slept great. Thirdly, the campground was so close to the…

Swallow Falls State Park

Nice park although the sites we saw weren't very level. The campground map I saw, I believe, said 84 campsites in the park and only 6 electric (& water). Decent cell service although on the low side, bar wise. Beautiful falls and trails.

The campground had modern shower houses, although we did…

Family Friendly & Base for Outdoor Adventures

This was our first trip to Five River Campground, and we loved it! Beautiful spot on the river— only tent camping in a huge field separated us from the water. The interior was more crowded and didn’t have a view; but Joyce helped us pick a beautiful spot when we called for reservation.

Nature All Around

As new (to RV) camping with a nuCamp teardrop, we chose this spot for a last minute getaway! I’m so glad we did. About a 2:45 hour drive from Pittsburgh, PA the drive in on a Friday late afternoon helped decompress the pain and heaviness of our current world. So many windy (but safe) country road…
