Quick and Easy

Stopped here on my way to Grand Teton National Park, from southwest Missouri. It’s a pretty standard campground. Had vault toilets, but no TP. I stayed at site 9, which is down a small hill, but the tent site is tucked back into the willows, allowed for some privacy. $14 for a night. Each site has a fire ring and a picnic table. No cell service with Consumer Cellular.

Good Cheap Site Under Crested Butte

Yes it's near the highway, but I don't think I ever even noticed that. The noise is not bad. Most of the noise comes from the river, which is relaxing. If you come in an off season like spring, there's no way to pay at the kiosk so stay is free.

Couldn't stay in Crested Butte so this 30 minute drive South did the trick!

Thanks for campsite

We were happy to see this site since all the sites we have tried have been closed due to snow or mud. In the summer this would be a beautiful little site. Spaces are tight, road is very much pot holed. Traffic is noisy. River is beautiful. If this was a couple of miles off highway it would be perfect. Have to search for kiosk
