LegendSite wasnt great and had to level rig a bit. Patio was small and not well kept. Cable and Wi-Fi were great. Amenities also nice. Dog park and laundry were very small. Shuttle to downtown very convenient. Very expensive for gravel site with small patio. Staff all seemed friendly.
GuideThis place is great! There is a lake with all sorts of water craft to rent. There is a high water park as part of the complex (separate fee). All sites have full hookups including cable. All roads are paved. All sites are level. There is even a dog park so your 4 legged family members can run free too.
LegendThis was our second time staying here during the pandemic. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and all employees were masked when indoors. We decided to try a back-in spot (R12) along the wall that separates the KOA from the RV campground next door. Nice and quiet, adequate shade during the day, and right next to the dog park! 5 bars of 5Ge on AT&T and the campground WiFi was good enough to get some work done.
This is without a doubt one of the nicest KOA’s we’ve visited. We would absolutely stay here again.
GuideThis campground was very convenient for those visiting the Nashville area, its just off the highway and they offer shuttles for a fee to downtown and opryland. The check in process was quick and simple, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Our campsite was easy to find and very clean. The shower house was one of the best I've seen mostly because it is air conditioned. The showers are all very private and clean with plenty of room. The waterpark is just steps away, I would suggest not eating food within the park it is over priced and not very tasty, go to the marina restaurant or eat at your campsite. They have a dog park to exercise your dogs and you can't beat the views. I would recommend this campground.
LegendWe spent two nights here (May 24-26, 2022). This is a nice, easy access CG with level pull through and back-in gravel sites in Nashville. It is located within a loop of the Cumberland River, between two RV dealer/repair facilities and surrounded by two RV CGs- it’s a busy area. There are a number of activities available: live music, swimming pool, recreation hall, playground and dog park. We did not make use of the laundry, bathrooms or showers. It is a great base camp to visit the Nashville (Grand Ole Opry) area. The WiFi was great as was cell phone reception. The cable TV worked well. We would stay here again.
RangerWe were in primitive site I and it was a perfect spot to camp on a hot day. The sun never touched our tent. They offer kayak rentals and they are good sturdy ones at a reasonable rate. There is no swimming but we enjoyed fishing. They have A honey locus tree on one of the trails which was cool. I had never seen one. They are pet friendly and pets are allowed leashes on all the hiking trails. The animals are not scared of humans or dogs. We had squirrels, birds, deer and turkey join us at our camp site.
LegendThe campground(CG) is easy to get to off I-24. We checked in and proceeded unescorted to site 22 with FHUs. The utilities are centered on the gravel pad and it was nice to have two sewer holes as our rig has two black tanks. We needed to flush each tank well, as we were heading to our home base near St. Louis. The water pressure was good at 50 psi and we got 3 bars 5G. There are a lot of mature trees so satellite may be iffy. We did not put out our Starlink for this one-night stay. Their free WiFi was okay. They accommodate both short stays, transient workers, and permanent parties. Not sure we’d call this place a“resort,” but they do have a small dog park, pool, laundry, dump station, and propane fills. This was our second time overnighting at this park. The first time we were closer to the interstate and this time we were at the front of the CG. It did not matter as this CG has the most interstate noise of any we’ve stayed.
