We love camping and traveling to our beautiful National Parks
Lake side camping

large sites right on the lake. toliets and showers were nice and clean. pets are allowed. we stayed in a primitive site but rv hook ups are available in other parks of the park, and some are right on the lake.

Beautiful campground but a ways from Gatlinburg.

The campground is really beautiful. well maintained facilities. the campground is pet friendly but the park is not. you can't take your dog on any trails except 2. Those are 45 minutes and 2 hours from the campground. The only downside to this location is it is 45 minutes to Gatlinburg.

Quiet campground in Shenandoah NP

We loved sharing the site with so much wildlife. We had a bear, a doe and her fawn, and a lively family of rabbits. The facilities are clean, and there is a store and showers. Only thing I didn't like was the one way through the whole campground, but I understand the need for it. They have walk in sites for tent campers who want a more wilderness experience or for the through trail campers.

Great campsite need 4x4

Nice campground outside Bland, VA. The road up needs a 4x4. Nice vault toilets and a hand pump water. There are 5 sites at this location.

Large campground near the ghost time

Nice campground on the other side of the park from Cosby near the ghost town. Well maintained facilities

Beautiful campground but a ways from Gatlinburg.

large open area to pitch a tent

great location just 5 minutes away from Mt. Rushmore. free site but no fire rings. it does have toliets. There is just a parking lot with a large open area to pitch a tent. The slide is about 5 minutes on the other side of Rushmore

Lake side sites

Beautiful quiet lake. it has a port a john. we stayed next to the boat ramp. There are 7 sites here and they are free. Stay left to the boat ramp. 7 miles from the Glacier gate.

loved the quite

We dispersed camp just down from this campground. We will stay here again.

Incredible view

Quant like campground. site 1 on the top of the hill has an incredible view of the valley. water was turned off when we were there but toliets were maintained.

The sunsets are gorgous!

We were going to camp in one of the free sites but they were full. This was a nice alternative.

such beauty

loved it here. The beauty in this area is breathtaking.

City park tent camping

Great little park next to a great river. It was swollen while we were there. You can use the park facilities. Great town to stay and explore the area.

Old water handpump is a unique amenity.

Beautiful tiny campground. The mountain across the highway looks like a sleeping elephant. The toliets are well maintained.

My favorite place

Small campground next to three lakes. One lake has dried up. Beautiful Gould, CO. We also boondock camp in this area as well. Don't miss Lake Agnes. It's at the top of a mountain. Not many people get to see this. I grew up in this are. Teller City is a nearby ghost town, and the Rand store is a time warp to the 1800's.

Camping with the gators

Loved this location! 10 minutes from the quater. There are swamp tours just outside the gate of tge park. Well keep. Facilities were ok. Free washer and dryer, but people were fighting over them. Lots of wildlife in the park. The site at the end of the road had a small gator when they woke up.

Beach camping

Great beach tent camping. Fantastic facilities including FREE laundry. Great crabbing! Just trow a chicken neck on a string and just pull them in. Unfortunately, we had a major storm on our first 2 days but we had a blast. The locals are awesome!

Great campground bring shade

Great campground but no shade. Several trails start around the campground. Facilities are old but maintained. Near the resturant and hotel.

Quiet open campground

Great bird watching opportunities. Beautiful night skies! old facilities are maintained but full of bugs especially spiders. Showers are available for a charge at the store as well as wifi at the store. The wifi only works on the store porch, so it is always crowded.
