Cozy Gem

This campground is cozy, friendly, and has a sweet sounding creek that you camp near. It has many kid friendly amenities as well as being very relaxing. Restaurants and stores less than 10 min away. Wildlife close also..we saw beautiful fawns drinking in stream.

KOA Lancaster PA

Had a really great RV experience at the Lancaster KOA. We have a 35 ft class A with a tow and selected an executive 1st row which gave us unobstructed views of the Amish farmland and lots of room (no shade). Place is spotless, great help at front desk. Will definitely come back

Just OK

The new owners are definitely working hard to improve but lots more to do. We have visited here a few times in the past four or five years and we see the improvements. The location is good for us since we live about 35 minutes away. The sites are level and there are often three point sites…

Pretty area with lots of hiking

Great hiking park. The campground is pretty far from the pool and it’s all hills so you cannot ride your bike, you’ll have to go in the car. Bathrooms were dirty the entire weekend. Sites in C loop seem to be the nicest. The pool looked very big and nice but we could not swim because it was…

Was huge and quiet

Sights are huge and was a nice campground. Also a lot to do off campground like going to Amish markets and they have hiking trails and activities. The store did not have much when we went and the pond has like no fish so we went of campground to fish. Bathrooms were dirty a lot of bugs and smelled…

Easy access, quiet campground

Staff were very friendly. Large campground but doesn't feel like it. Easy access to main roads, downtown Philly and Jersey Shore.

Family Campground with great hiking

We have been to blue rocks twice for tent camping and it is one on my favorite campgrounds. The tent sites are separated from the RVs and are very large sites, so you have some space from your neighbors. There are hiking trails right from the campground to access the Pinnacle, Pulpit rock and…

Walking Trails Directly From Campsite

Best part of this campground is trailheads begin directly from campsites. Trails vary in length but all are flat and easily accessible.

The road into the campground is about 1 mile of loose sand. It can be accessed by a standard vehicle.

Rustic Cabin On The Water

Atsion cabins are excellent rustic cabins situated directly on the water. They come in a variety of sizes accommodating up to 7 or 8 people.

They must be reserved in advance and a multiple night rental is necessary. They book quickly during the busy season. However, we rented for Halloween…

Awesome Trails But Close Campsites

Wharton State Forest Batona Campground has some of the best trails I’ve hiked.

Downside is the campsite is tight. You must camp in designated spots and reserve online. Not much distance between sites.

However, with the amount of outdoor activities there really is no reason to stay idle in the…
