Camping near Willamette National Forest

Absolutely a beautiful spot tucked away! Off the main road with a few dispersed spots spaced out very nicely. Not the easiest access to the river but if able easy enough. Spots are large and the stars are amazing!

Some traffic, but not terrible. Was here in July and it was dusty dusty

It was close to the highway but no one was there, trash seemed a little problem but besides that, it's good

Just me, not far from the highway though can hear traffic, and alot of left over trash. But other than that safe and chill. No water or amenities.

Stopped here in Redmond to do some fantastic climbing in Smith’s Rock State Park. Clean pit bathroom and clean sites. Little to no trash on the trails to the falls themselves. Does get kinda busy throughout the day, however, no one is coming over to the camping side.

Love the spot. Great view of the mountains with access to other view points. Only issue is the provided GPS coordinate isn't correct. It send me close by but down a long awful gravel road. Took an hour on gravel with my trailer. When I drop the pin on Google these are the coordinates to use: 44.208262,-121.615200

We arrived late on a Monday - our site was reserved with our names. We had to take our 5th wheel in for unexpected service. The staff was very accommodating and booked us for another night without an issue. We would stay here again.

The marker on the map is where the information kiosk is. If you follow the road to the right of the reservoir there are some developed campsites/boat launches with a fee (and composting toilets). Keep driving. This area is freshly burned, but there are still very treed dispersed sites past the more developed ones. Pass the sign for Mona campground but before the bridge and signs that warn about falling rocks. On the left side there are five dispersed sites along the river. There is a small marker "180" at the entry to the turnoff. Beautiful and quiet. Minimal trash that we cleaned up, steep routes to the river. We were there early March, no snow.

In the past few camping visits, I have witnessed a cis man in the women's upper pool bathroom. The first time was in November 2024, I was exiting the shower completely naked and he was standing in front of the bathroom stalls looking at me. I was shocked and told him he was in the wrong bathroom and he said he "made a mistake". The second time was this past weekend in January 2025, and I was just using the bathroom and he walked out as I walked in. I reported to the front desk and they said it wasn't the first time this had happened and sent someone to look into it. I was so upset by it happening multiple times that we left a night early. I emailed the owners who said they never heard anything about it, blamed me for feeling unsafe, and said they couldn't/wouldn't do anything different to address the safety concern. If you're a woman, you know how vulnerable this is. The upper bathrooms are 24/7 and unmonitored. If you are going to go, and you need to use the bathroom after 9pm (when the lodge bathrooms close), I'd say bring mace and have a safe person stand outside this door. This is not overreacting. Sexual assault happens, Belknap should do better.

This is a beautiful RV park. Very well kept, friendly people, close to Bend area. Our site was #7. Pull through, FHU, had a small brick patio area with picnic table and fireplace. Camp store was well stocked. Laundry on site which was very reasonable. Site was level. As an RV park the sites are close together. We did a waterfall hike, went to Bend a couple times, went for dinner and drinks at the Barn in Sisters which is a food truck park. Sisters was a great small town.

The camp sites were decent size and they have life jackets for little ones

We rolled into this park in a torrential rainstorm just at dark. Thankfully, site 10 was perfectly level, and hookups all worked great. Clean bathrooms and gorgeous setting, even in the the rain

Quiet, close to Bend, numerous sites in Ponderosa forest.

Great location and the amenities were those of a full service RV resort. Bathrooms & showers, pet area, trash service, fire pit rings, and more. Big pull through spots. Right off the road so there was a bit of road boise but still overall great.

I stayed at Armitage for an overnight visit in the area and thought the location was quite nice: wooded with adequate facilities and plenty of space between sites. The RV park staff disappear a little before 5 pm and who knows when they come in the mornings. No wifi reception (at least where I was). Not bad overall.

Maybe 15min outside bend, a little hard to see the turn off in the dark, but once we did it was easy to find a spot and set up camp! We only stayed one night and were car camping so it was perfect!

Ok site. Not especially scenic, but good outdoor space with lots of owl and bug noise at night.

Right next to road. Cars come by somewhat regularly, at some speed, kicking up dust.

There is an open spot suitable for solar and starlink.

I have stayed here a couple times on motorcycle trips around Oregon. There are lots of sites that have been used and it's a great place to spend a night or two. It's close to Sisters so you can grab what you need.

You're close to the Rodeo grounds so you can hear what's going on if there are any events there. Overall, great free place to camp if you're in the Sisters, OR area.
