Great stop between MT and WI

A little south of Bismarck, this relaxed, beautiful campground is part of a larger park and has large shade trees and well spaced sites. Non-electric sites are only $12! Great spot! We stayed in the tent area with a teardrop trailer.

It’s Fall in ND!

Perfect fall getaway! We stayed on a Sunday to Monday, prior to a college visit with our son. No crowd, and had the campground and fall leaves all to ourselves. Sites are for the most part a nice distance from each other and many have asphalt pads. Bathrooms were clean and suitable.

Clean truth here!

The camp around this area is very plain. And when I’m mean plain I mean the GREAAAT Plains! We had a whole bunch of fun learning about the camp and General Custard. There is a bunch of history and many happy faces in this area. Everything you would need here is only a stone throw away. We enjoyed…

Space—-and lots of it!

I throughly enjoyed this park. Very affordable and plenty of room between campers. We had so much fun riding bike and viewing the river!

We viewed the Custard House and it was very interesting as well, it’s a must see!

This site was very quiet and the park rangers are always patrolling it…

Great campground!

We stayed at General Sibley campground on our family vacation in 2018. Large campground & we were pretty much in our own area. Frisbee golf course & playground. Nice first stop on our journey!

Lots of activities and history for your stay!

Another well maintained campground and even better state park with tons of different things to do with the entire family. For the campground there are tons of trees that offer great shade and trails for walking. The shower house is very clean and felt"modern" for a state park. If you like history…

Great campground!

This campground was a great stopping place on our way West! We stayed on a weekday and we practically had the place to ourselves. We tented which has its own area. There were pit toilets near our site and they were very clean and well maintained. The sites were spacious, grassy and shaded by big…

Beautiful, Quiet, Historical

This was our maiden voyage in our first camper! South loop Campsite 36 was easy to park. Our electrical and water hookups were close. Dump station was easy. We were right next to comfort station which was well maintained. Kid Park was new and close to our site. There was lots of bike and walking…

Great Family Campground near Bismarck

Very nice campground right on the Missouri River. Lots of walking/bike trails, playground for kids and places to fish on the river. Some pull through and other shared campsites share a water source so make sure to bring a water splitter as sometimes there is not one on the spigot and campground…

Nice location

This campground is nice if you can get one of the few electric sites on the water. They have a water fill station and the playground is located in the middle of the loop so it's easily accessible to every site on the north loop. The south loop area is more like a field with parking spots and the…

Close but far enough out

This campground is super close to Bismarck but far enough south of town to feel like you are in the middle of the woods. The sites are all spacious and all have small to large areas of grass. The pads are level. Very nicely kept campground

Cheap, Sprawling Campground Outside Bismark

Sprawling, well-appointed campground on the outskirts of Bismarck, run by the park and rec district. Lightly forested with large campsites for tents and RVs. The park has showers, bathrooms, an amphitheater, disc golf, a playground, and a group area. It is very popular with locals. It is also…

Beautiful

Stayed at Fort Abraham Lincoln 3 nights last June. Beautiful park on the Missouri River. Campground was clean and quiet. Nice shower house. Large, level sites. Fort Abraham Lincoln was General Custer’s headquarters before he left for the Little Big Horn. Lots of hiking and history and wildlife.
