Nice, lots of sites!

There were a lot of sites that were sort of close together. I was a little nervous for the kids riding bikes because of all the traffic. The campgrounds so big things are far apart and people need to drive to get to the beach, pool, store etc. it was nice just not as relaxing and quite as I would…

Just o.k., a little too busy

This is a total family playground and if that is what you are looking for, this is your place! There are tons of activities, lots of families and “stuff” going on all the time and not really what we look for in a campground but it fits the bill for some people. Most of the sites are a bit too close…

Family Fun

There is a FULL schedule of themed activities for the kiddos, weekly. You’ll also a well stocked store as well as a really good restaurant/bar on site. The purple section is the quietest and the blue is closest to the activities. The river is not accessible from the sites on the river as you must…

July Weekend

Amazing views of Lake George. Staff and ranger were extremely kind and friendly. The rest rooms areas were semi clean but it was a sold out weekend. Friday and Saturday night there was a ton of street noise from Rt9. Overall was a great weekend.

If you're in a pinch

Wouldn't recommend this location unless you're really looking for a stop.

Because all the sites start with a very obscure pull out, you have no way of knowing what your site will look like. The first site I ended up pulling into BARELY had space for my sedan to turn around, and it was so muddy…

Quiet Spot

We arrived on a Tuesday with no reservations. We had our pick of sites and no issues staying for 2 days. There were several sites reserved starting Thursday and Friday so the weekend looked to be busier. We only had one other camper on our loop the first night and no one the second. Sites were…

Great location for access to Lake George village and the outlets

Great campground if you want to shop at the outlets to the south or hang out in the village of Lake George to the north.  There is a huge bike path that leads to the village and the outlets.  Our campsite was close to the road with quite a bit of noise from the traffic but the campers were friendly…

Great campground in a fun area!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Sites were really wooded, quiet, level, and spread out. Staff were super-helpful. And Ft. Ticonderoga and Lake George are right around the corner.

We got crappy cell service, and the camp wifi was spotty- but hey, we were camping, right?

Beautiful, well-run campground. Lots of great hiking.

Moosalamoo Campground is smack in the middle of the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, in the Green Mountains of VT. 18 campsites, 8 of which are first come, first serve. Ample toilets and potable water available. There is a grassy area in the center of the campground—great for kids, gatherings,…

Great experience, everything you need

We arrived late but had a reserved lot. Perfect campfire set up for cooking, wood was easily available. It was raining and cold yet showers were fine.

Not the best

We chose this site for convenience to the size flags park and that was about all it was good for. Very friendly staff and a pool. However it was so close to the thruway we could have been on top of it and for the price I was not impressed.

Eagle Point state park

A beautiful setting on Schroon Lake. The sites are small. They are great for tents and smaller Rv’s. Truck campers would also fit in nicely. They do have showers and flush toilet shut no hookups. The park has a sandy beach and canoe and kayak rentals.

This park is amazing! So much to do right in the park with clean sites, friendly staff, awesome amenities and even a trolly to get around this huge park or get down town to Lake George. Living 10 minutes away, we were looking for an affordable vacation and we found it! We are already planning our…
