This campground is one of our favorites. It’s got clean restrooms and showers, plenty of water available plus the dump station. Nice lake for fishing or kayaking. Great trails for hiking or mountain biking. Super quiet place and some pretty great sunsets!

This city park has eight or nine spots available some have full hook ups and some have just water and some have just sewer and some have just electric. We stayed on spot nine, which had all three. Only downside to this little place was since it is the city park and there is a playground here, quite a bit of local traffic bringing the kids in. Nice walking trail around part of the golf course. When we were there, there was no place to pay, but I called the city clerk and she said just to put the money in a dropbox at City Hall, which is $20 now.pretty close to the road that goes through town so a little bit of traffic noise.
GuideGreat overnight stop on our way through Nebraska. This city park has 5 RV/trailer pads with water and electric hookup. Suggested donation of $10/night. Right in the middle of the small town of Osmond. Bathrooms and playground with plenty of space to run. Just off the main road, but was quiet.

Pretty little campground but services were sparse and the beach was not nice when we were there in August. Make sure you have quarters to get a shower!! We only found one shower house for over 100 campsites.

This is a nice clean campground. Full hookups. 50 - 30 - 15 amp service. Can be noisy next to busy city street. Large shade trees line between the 6 sites offered. Grills at each site, but no open fires allowed. Long cemented drives great for large rigs.

$20.00 a night gives you 30amp service. Picnic tables, grass site. There is only one grill in the campgrounds, and that was located on site L. You have to call the number pictured, and police will come and unlock your electrical box. They will also take your money if you wish to pay them directly. They spray for mosquitoes, and they were not a problem while we were there. Many local dog walkers, they leave many, many land minds around. You can have shade in the morning, but for the most part, all sites see sunshine throughout the day. Nice place. I should mention showers are free. Bathrooms are clean and just across the road from where you can camp. Dump station is also just west of the bath house.

ScoutBrand new campground moving up quickly. The cabins are 5 star quality and they're still building more. RV sites are spacious, concrete patios w/ picnic tables, new fire rings. Baby trees were just planted to help with some shade, but there are a few mature trees too. Along the Big Platte River & has a pond for fishing only, with sites around the pond. The shower house is brand new and beautiful & very clean inside. Great place to stay in eastern Nebraska! Columbus has activities for kids too. Water park (the Pawnee plunge) & playgrounds (Centennial Park). There's a Walmart & Menards within 10 min. And plenty of food choices too.

I would have given this nice little campground a 3-star rating, but I felt the 8 foot pads were a little bit too small. To be fair, they have placed a handful of larger pads throughout, but it would be insanely cramped for larger units to maneuver and even turn their rigs around. $15.00 per night for campers. $10.00 a night for tents. Cabins ran $35.00 a night. They did have a men's and women's toilet building (flush or hole?) the building was locked, and we couldn't use it. They have 30 amp electric, 1 location to obtain water (communal water spigot), 1 picnic table per site, and garbage buckets provided for nearly all sites. Oak trees provide shade from the sun. One has to look up, though. we saw several locations where larger dead and broken branches were just hanging on by a thread. They have 2 cabins that are available. The entire campground is an easy stones throw from the city swimming pool. There are 2 large picnic pavillions, and electricity is provided. Walking trails are available (we did not walk on them this trip). There is a lazy little creek that meanders around the outskirts of the campgrounds. Playground equipment in 3 locations for the kids. Large fields for others playing around. We didn't need a dump site, and I'm sorry, I didn't think to look to see if they had one. They may have one, and I think I would have noticed it if they had, but take this with a grain of salt. Town is just down the road a half mile or so, and most needs can be met there. Finally, I have to mention the highway ¼ mile away. Heavy semi traffic. Campgrounds are located at the bottom of a hill. Those semi's blast those Jake brakes. Over and over again. 2 days of that, and we left early and drove to a new campground. Enough was enough.
ScoutMe, my husband and grandson went there couple weeks ago. We’re supposed to stay for three days. We brought our three dogs. The host just got pissed off at us and told us we had to leave because one of our dogs kept barking at three in the morning well who in the hell walked by a camper at 3 o’clock in the morning because that’s the only reason why he would bark is because somebody was right there. And I paid for three days and didn’t get my money back. Didn’t get anything which is a bunch of bullshit.

This was a very easy safe spot to spend the night. New sign states $10/night, second night is free. Unfortunately, I could not figure out where the city office is. According to Google it is in the corner of the park, but that looked like a shit down old car shop. Would have loved to pay since they provided electric hookups!
The previous listing that says it's by a lake is wrong, that is "Burbach Campground" this is "Burbach Park".
The camping pad can be a bit hard to see, it was covered in leaves when I got there so I didn't see it at first, but it is right at the gps location on the listing.

 there are some full hook ups hear the area around here is all torn up the road in is cobblestone so it’s real bumpy. The campground is really a mess. There’s nothing here except your hook ups and he’s used to having construction workers at 600 a month so he wants to charge me 40 bucks for absolutely no amenities. This used to be a city park but now it’s private ownership. I’ve stayed here before a year or so ago and it’s kind of a big mess but the hook ups work.

ScoutWe stayed there late July 2023. This year they added a camp host. When we pulled up, he greeted us and was very friendly! Having a camp host has made the campsite much more safe and appealing. The locals told us it used to be a mess and it's so much better now. The campsite was much better than I expected for Norfolk, NE. We will be staying here again! Can't beat the price.
Before we pulled up, we had to fill with water because there is no water at the sites themselves. And no sewer dump at the sites. (There is one on your way out). However, we had full 50 amp power. The concrete pads made it nice to park the RV on for easy set up.
ScoutBeautiful lake with nice beaches, however, when we went, the water has a “no contact order” from May- end of September. This was not disclosed when booking. You can still take your boat if you have one. Bathrooms were clean, but old. No showers in main campsite area.
ScoutI am driving 8 hours across the state of Nebraska to go spend some time with my daughter who attends Wayne State College and to watch some theater performances she is in. I wanted to ensure that I had a place to park my camper but unfortunately I am unable to reserve a spot. It is first come first serve only. Hope I have luck finding a spot when I arrive in about a month to stay for 5 nights!

I came in a couple days before memorial weekend and all of the RV spots were reserved so I only did a short drive around grabbing some photos. It looks like a great spot to swing in overnight if there are any open spots.

This is a fairly clean and mostly level campground that is a nice stay if your end destination is Clarkson. If you are looking for a spot to swing in, fill up on fuel and food, and leave the next day then the nearby campground in Howells might suite you a little better.
LegendEight sites along a small lake in the small town of Nehigh. All have electric hookups. All sites are grass with no defined driveways lined up next to each other with no privacy/separation between them. Day-use area around the other side of the lake has a small playground. The women's bathroom in the day-use area was basically unusable. The website looks like people fish here. The bathrooms were ok, but the shower looked sketchy.
The park is located right on the highway through town so you will hear road noise, however, this campground would be ok for passing through and the price is reasonable. There were two RVs in spaces when we were there but aside from a maintenance worker mowing the lawn, we did not see anyone.
