GuideAbout 30 minutes away from the Ark. Easy trip on I75, about 30 minutes. Some level sites, but most seem to have a slope. When we visited, two of four washing machines were out of order as well as two of six dryers out of order. Efficient staff.
TravelerSite #11: nice shade tree, lots of roots exposed, set up tent on stone to avoid roots. Great space between the tent sites, but virtually no real privacy as public traffic into park was steady. awesome wildlife for a park within the city: herons, geese (except for poop), ducks, turtles, beavers. We didn't see the coons but put food away every night as they visited our camp on a nightly basis.
Long way to a newer bath house, port-a-john almost as far away in opposite direction. RV spots were really tight. Shelter with electrical outlet attached to bathhouse. Indoor and outdoor pool in the other half of the park. Kayak rental available. Host friendly and helpful. Bathhouse is four units, each with sink, toilet and shower. Could have been a lot cleaner. In our five day stay, no deep clean, but always had TP. Overall, enjoyed our stay, appreciated our Luggable Loo as a backup.
Nice area, County Fair while we were there, historic downtown. Several grocery stores, thrift stores and boutiques. Renaissance festival nearby.

ScoutMe and my boys come here once a year and it is the greatest day of the year every year. We love going on the pond and fishing even though my friends suck at it. The hosts are always very nice and accommodating to me. When I had to arrive at the campsite late because of work they said it was no problem. It truly is a great experience for any and everyone especially in the summer.
ScoutWe didn't let the rainy Kentucky weather disrupt our weekend getaway! We stayed warm and dry inside Page's cabin. Uphill trails are spectacular, with plenty of pet friendly areas.
