ScoutStaff is great and his campground allows campfires. Pet friendly with two dog parks. Great pool and has cabins and yurts to reserve. Less than three miles from Callaway Gardens and FDR Park. Town of Pine Mountain...two street lights...very quaint sidewalk shops! This place is a hidden treasure.

TravelerGreat location if you are visiting FT. Benning. Not quite a “resort” yet, but maybe soon. They are under construction, but most spots were full. Felt more like tailgating than camping. Beautiful paved path leading to dog park, playground, golf course and river walk. Recommend screen shelter as there is no shade and it can get hot and buggy. Also, wear closed toe or muck boots as there are large stones and broken glass imbedded in all the sites. Clean port a potty. Do your shopping before hitting the site as the area right around it is very economically depressed. We had a great week long visit with our soldier before he moved on to his next assignment.

Pets are welcomed and many people had theirs. So if your pet doesn’t like crowds or other pets it would be best to leave them home. Also it’s a decent walk very steep and at times strenuous so elderly people or pets may want to stay at the top. (We slipped multiple times going down.)
Make sure you take a cash to get in the gate or you will have to go to the visitor center.
We plan to go back and camp but I believe you have to hike to the camp sites.
ScoutIt’s been raining the whole weekend. Even so, this campground is a beautiful place. The only problems we have had: 1: buildings are not marked. It was hard to determine what was a private cabin vs bath house. 2: (this is a fellow camper issue not campground) someone with a large dog was just letting it run amuck! That is what ruins “pet friendly “ places. Lease your babies!!!
Like I said, this place is a beautiful campground. Definitely deserves a repeat visit!

GuideNice campground easy to find and just off of I 85. Large spots and full hookups. Kind of tight entry but my 108 wide camper made it. Very family friendly. Pets are welcome and the staff is very friendly.
GuideI am rather new to tent camping so I really appreciated the helpful folks running the camping area. Each spot had electricity, water, great internet, picnic table and places to build a fire. Each site is shielded from the next by trees. Bathrooms and showers are used but clean. Clear maps available for hiking or biking. Nice lake with swimming and boating. Pet friendly. Could not have asked for more or better.
TravelerI stayed at 3 Creeks for a week as a dry run with a new Class A motorhome. The sites were not too close together, so that is a plus. A lot of full time residents, but mostly a quiet in-the-woods location. They have a mini water park, so expect some playtime noises during operation hours. Full hookups with 50 amp service and friendly hosts. Pet friendly, though most people do not clean up after their fur children.
