Good place for a couple of nights

Right at the foot of a mountain it has some beautiful views. The sites are pretty close together (stayed in site 13). Some road noise from nearby 160, but not much. Friendly and helpful staff and well kept grounds. Very good Verizon service at 37 download / 15 upload. AT&T was a little weaker averaging around 8-10 download. Close by to Mesa Verde, Chimney Rock, and other attractions. Site had full hookups also well maintained.

A lot of background noise but a convienient location

Probably best for an overnight stay en route to a destination. Right off of I70, so there is constant highway noise. Train heard faintly in the distance, but not bad. Under the flight paths for Denver airport, so the occasional overhead plan noise. Sites are cramped but clean. Stayed in site 81, which was a bit uneven sloping down to the front of the pull through site. Connections are a little far for some RV models, so make sure you have extensions for cords and hoses just in case. The campground advertises a lot of conveniences like pizza orders delivered to your site. Did not use any of those services during the 2 night stay. Local saloon across the frontage road from the park entrance if you are up for soaking in some of the local color. About 30 miles from Aurora and the outskirts of Denver.

AT&T signal is OK. Verizon is better.

A quiet, clean, and friendly place

Located within 8 miles of services and shopping, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Sites are a little close together, but well kept. Stayed in a pull through with full services for 3 nights in August to escape the worst of the heat. East driving distance to multiple parks and attractions near the Mount Rushmore area.

Quiet for the most part

I stayed at 3 Creeks for a week as a dry run with a new Class A motorhome. The sites were not too close together, so that is a plus. A lot of full time residents, but mostly a quiet in-the-woods location. They have a mini water park, so expect some playtime noises during operation hours. Full hookups with 50 amp service and friendly hosts. Pet friendly, though most people do not clean up after their fur children.
