    Fancy resort

We stayed here for two nights on our way from Virginia to Florida. It is a very nice family friendly vacation resort rather than overnight stay. But we enjoyed all the amenities. We had a pave site full hookup pull thru with lake view. Very easy to get in and out, private and quiet, we had a picnic table, fire ring and bbq grill. I was most excited about drink cart every evening!! We were here on Monday and Tuesday, extremely quiet. Empty beach/restaurant area and beach bar. You will have to drive around the resort or rent a golf cart. They also have a tram from rv resort to water park. There is a one time $20 fee per vehicle to enter, pay at gate. The weather wasn’t the best, wish we could have used the boat ramp to launch our kayak.

    Nice long term place

I stayed here long term for a couple of years while working in Atlanta (my house is 1.5 hours away so I stay in town when working). They have nightly sites and long term sites, a bathhouse, laundry, and the office staff are very nice. The sites have gravel which is nice. You are close to highway so you here some road noise but it’s still pretty quiet.

There’s a McDonald’s, 2 gas stations, Starbucks, kfc, smoothie king, and a Burger King just down the street so quick to eat food options are there.

    Riverside Estates RV Park

    Long term

Most people in here are long term week+, there are 4 areas, and one is a flood zone. They are still upgrading the park slowly but they are. The park is very kid friendly, there is a dog pen area, there are dog waste bag stations. There is a laundry room, bathhouse, and every site has water and sewer hook up. It is gated and there is a fob for everything for safety. It is a great place the manager here is awesome. Been here over a year now.

    Close to ATL

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights due to work in ATL. Mostly long term tenants, but a handful of short term sites. We stayed due to the proximity to the city. It's cheap and safe, but not somewhere you want to hang out all day.

    Friendly staff, beautiful views

Beautiful views at nearly every site! You can tell they are working on updating things and taking better care of the park this year. Sites have narrow parking areas but most have big outdoor living areas with fire pit and table. Then even off some long term parking. We loved that you could bring your boat and leave it docked at your site. Also great swimming areas!

    Very nice but small campground

We enjoyed our stay at Creekside. The campground is paved and sites are level. They only have a few sites large enough to handle 38' rigs. They also have a limited number of full hook up sites. It is very close to Helen Ga and convenient to all of the adventures. The park is however for adults only.

    What a view!

All RV sites have a lake view. Full hook ups. State Park has a Ranger to check you in and gate is closed 10:30pm-7am. Reservations must be made online, set up user name, confirm thru your email and if your cell service is poor it can be tricky but well worth the work.

    Twin Lakes RV Park

A place to park with no bath, no amenities and mostly long term residents

The 5 star reviews are perplexing. We're not new to RVing and have stayed in plenty of lovely mom& pop parks. This is a family owned campground, but it is basically a parking lot with hookups for people who live there long term. Our site was on the side of a road about 50 yards away from the Dump Station. It was referred to as a premium, pull through rather than what it is... a pull to the side of the road. There was no grass or picnic table. I'll post pictures that show the condition of our site and how close the spots are to one another. The pictures online and YouTube videos of this park are very deceiving. The grassy areas beside and between the lakes can only be accessed by walking though other camper's sites.

** Use caution navigating the park because the roads at the back have no way to turn around if you get back there.

    So much fun!!

This place is pretty awesome. Its been around so long my husband came here as a child. This place has multiple types of sites, full hook up (including sewer), partial hook up, as well as cabins and permanent RVs to rent. There are multiple bathrooms, and dump sites, access to the river, and a craft cabin where they have really fun crafts such as tie dye and wreath making. In the morning, a beautiful fog sits over the trees and gives a mystic appearance. We had a lot of fun. A lot of people who go hear have kids and they run free. My son made so many friends.

    Fly Fishing Fun

Unicoi has many wonderful full hook up sites. Sites 23-29 are wonderful. There is 1,050 acres to hike, fish, camp and relax. Nestled in pristine North Georgia mountains. Good for single, family or even group campers. Close to a wonderful Bavarian town know as Helen Georgia. If you like to raft or kaiak this can be accessed very close to Helen. There are also 29 cottages for you to rent if that is your thing.

    Beautiful Area of GA.

We spent Memorial Day weekend here. we had a pull through site on the pond. Sites are VERY close together, all gravel with no grass between rigs. Full hook-ups. Cable and not very good WiFi. Our kids enjoyed the two playgrounds and the bouncy house. Lots of space for them to ride their bikes. looks like some full timers are living their.

    One of our favorite places

Huge campground and you never have to leave the park for anything. Huge lake that you can not swim in. Bathhouses are nice. They have a lot of different loops from primitive all the way up to full hook up with cable tv and WiFi. The kids will never get bored at this park. They have a speaker system in the campgrounds that alert you when bad weather is on the way.

    It was an Ok park

The park was just okay. The site we were on was full hook up and level but a lot of the sites we very slanted. Also we had to unhook our electric cord to be able to use the sewer. Also our fire pit was not useable as well since it was located so close to our camper. The dumpers doesn’t trash we’re in the very back corner of the campground so it was a little inconvenient. I will say the park staff was friendly and everything seemed very clean. Also the fall decorations we a nice touch.
Last the campground offered WiFi but it was so slow that it was not worth using.

Another plus is it’s close to lots of great hiking trails and the town of Helen is close and adorable. Worth a visit.

    Excellent campground for the family

Unicoi is a really nice campground. They offer Zipline adventures, hiking, swimming, playgrounds, paddle boats and more. The are just minutes away from Helen Ga which offers tubing adventures down the Chattahoochee, great restaurants and shopping. Our family loves to visit. There are a limited number of full hook up sites, and they are first come first serve. When you make your reservation you are guaranteed a specific site type, but not a specific site number. Most of the sites will accommodate a 38' -40' rig. Backing them into the spot is tight because the road is narrow. Sites are very spacious and level.

    Very Nice

Beautiful campground. Everything is clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are kept nice and clean. Campsites are gravel with full hook ups and a campfire ring. Wifi most anywhere in the park is great. My only complaint would be there are a lot of rules. In the lake they have you can only use their paddle boats and not your own. And there is a small fee to do it. Some other amenities like mini golf you also have to pay extra for.

Best RV Park in Blue Ridge

Absolutely love this RV Park.  Been here about a half dozen times since 2020.  Super clean, level spots (choice of pull in or back in paved or gravel spots), very friendly staff, sewer hookups at all camper sites, decent WiFi and cable also included.  Also has store with camping supplies, pool, cabin rentals, propane, super clean shower and laundry facility too.  Close to downtown Blue Ridge, Blue Ridge Lake, and Blairsville.  Four lane highway all the way to the park from Atlanta.  The highway noise can be a little much for those looking for an outdoor camping experience, but for glampers and regular Travel Trailers, this site is fantastic.

    Skeenah Campground

    Found By Accident

Nice campground in the Georgia backcountry under new management. The new owners are very nice and helpful.

The campground has multiple offers for accommodations: Sites with and without Power/Water, rooms available above the office, tent area, cabins and long term spaces.

Lots of history here and in the area with an old mill onsite. This mill milled the wood for the office building/house onsite and many other houses in the area back in the early 1900s.  There is a small river that runs along the campground, with a waterfall and water wheel that powers the mill. The own will do tours of the old mill if there is enough interest (mainly on the weekends).

    Firewood is available for purchase.

There is a large pavilion that has table and chairs in it that is available for guests to use and gives a nice option for people to gather even if its raining out.

This campground is along the Georgia Traverse (that is how we found it) and also along popular motorcycle touring routes, so you may see lots of overnight travelers.

The lightning bugs in the spring are amazing here!
