A great place to go with family and friends or by yourself.

I had fun kayaking down the river.  Met great people.  Everyone was kind and friendly.  Camp was great.  Bathrooms very clean.  Fishing was good.  Caught stripped bass and smoked them, they were delicious.  Sights were spectacular.  Recommend this place to everyone.

  • Fish we caught and smoked. Awesome.
  • The kids did t want to leave they lived it here. Lol
  • Hanging with family.

Overnighted B4 Paddling the St. Marks

Called ahead and booked a tent site at this county campground.

Brian and Betty were the hosts (BnB!). Brian was very nice on the phone and didn't even come around to collect $!

In fairness, I was there for a short time and dropped the appropriate fare by the door of their RV on my way out.…

A hidden gem. Great place to stay. Beautiful park.

Ed and Bernices is a hidden gem.  Beautiful park.  Very peaceful.  You have a boat ramp for use with your rental.  The park and bathrooms are very clean.  Staff is very nice and helpful.  A fish cleaning station.  Bring your toys for the river, we had a blast.  Everyone in the park treated us like…

Great little farm to stay on

I stayed with a larger group and we all had an amazing time. The owner of the farm was so welcoming and accommodating. She even gave us a tour of the farm in the morning and we were able to play with a ton of goats and chickens! It was such a great experience with genuinely kind people.

Great view

It was everything their web site says. Easy in and out. Water pressure was a little low. The wifi was useable but if you go for the paid upgrade ($1.50 a day) be aware it is apparently for only one device. That not stated upfront.

Nice park

I only got to spend a night here but my family enjoyed it. Nice little beach and great peer for fishing. Friendly campers in that area. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

On the Gulf, No distractions

It's the views that bring you to the Ho Hum RV Park. I had a waterfront site and thoroughly enjoyed letting the dogs run on the beach. At the end of the fishing pier you can see the crabs clinging to the support poles.

Great Gulf views.

Highly Recommend

Super friendly staff, very inviting place with pool, campfires, picnic benches at every site, super clean family friendly bathrooms and showers. It was Easter Sunday when we were there and they invited all children for egg hunting and after egg hunting they did raffle (at no cost) and let kids…

One of our favorites! Wish we could have stayed longer

Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. Stayed 3 nights in 35 foot RV+tow car at$29/night. This stop was not ever part of our plan but when the winter weather forecast for TX came in we decided to extend our Florida stay before heading west as planned. We…

Mountains of Florida

Great trails in the mountains of Florida. Campsites are narrow but long we had enough space to set our screen room up behind camper. Hurricane michael did extensive damage to the area. Trees and shrubs are growing back. Not much shrubbery between sites. Two super cool yurts for rent and a cabin.…

Secluded sites, great night sky

We camped at Pidcock Road Campsite #49 during the 2020 Leonid meteor shower.  Nice place for dogs (req'd on leash) as no other campsites nearby.  Very quiet, no water or electricity.  Don't trust google map for road directions, you have to approach from the east or north.  Dirt roads could be an…

Real Fish Camp

The RV and Campground is small with eight covered spaces and room for some limited tent camping. Four of the covered spaces are right on the bank of the river with fishing available as well as a boat ramp for smaller watercraft. The space is shared by several full-time residents but it’s not overly…
