Bama Bison uses a regenerative approach to farming and all animals are raised in an environment that encourages natural behaviors and low stress. The farm offers bison meat and other seasonally available farm products for sale to the public, camping for RVs and tents, venues for special events, and lodging through airbnb.

Bama Bison’s new campground offers campers a beautiful countryside environment that is perfect for unwinding, connecting with nature, and relaxing with family and friends. Back-in sites with full hookups are nestled under the shade of mature pines, and each site is positioned so that guests may enjoy their scenic surroundings. R. Shaefer Heard Campground is a wooded lake-view site near West Point Dam. This pet-friendly campground provides 117 campsites for tents and RVs with water and electric hookups, and includes handicap sites, single and double sites, waterfront sites, and paved back-in and pull-through drives from 25 to 107 feet. Each site permits up to eight campers and four vehicles. The campground is located within R. Shaefer Heard Park, which includes additional amenities, such as a tennis court, multi-use ball field, hiking and mountain biking trails, boat ramps, docks, pavilions, playgrounds, amphitheater, and visitor center.

20 acres, mostly wooded, for your private camping escape in a quiet, rural setting. Full hookups: 50/30 amp, water, sewer and trash pickup. Site is next to a vacant stone house.

Near FD Roosevelt State Park (15 min drive) and Callaway Gardens (20 minute drive).

There is an additional RV hookup available but it will not be occupied unless both sites are rented as a bundle.
