Nice and quiet

Sweet on and off 231 all paved pull through sites. Catch and release pond, camp store, propane, showers, laundry, close to restaurants. Everyone is escorted to their site by the wonderful owner and her staff.

Another great COE

Concrete level pads, electric and water, large clean showers and bathrooms, laundry only 1.00 per machine, fish cleaning stations, easy drive nort or south for city life and major grocery stores.

Very roomy

The roads are not marked very well and it took a bit to find our site which needed level blocks and is just wide enough for the Rv. Nice to have water supply within 10 feet. Very quiet, shady paved sites in Taylor’s Ridge loop.

One of our favorites

Very small but popular campground run by the corp of engineers. Great fishing, boating, jet ski campground. No camp store or laundry but plenty nearby to serve all your wants and needs. The host and hostess couldn’t be better people to know.

Love this place

Lots of personality and most fellow campers you meet are great. Gravel sites mostly level. Water and sewer hookups. Shower house and laundry. Ice available but no camp store. Just steps to the beach on the shuttle to St. Vincent Island for a day of shelling or fishing. 9 miles of beach to walk or ride your bike.

So peaceful

All roads and campsites are paved and level for the most part. Pick a site that has water near and you won’t have to unhook to fill your tanks. So many sites are in the shade all day and peaceful. Showers are spotless but fun on the push button system. So many trails and bike paths, fishing, boating and nature center.

So peaceful

All roads and campsites are paved and for the most part, level. The fire pits have grill grates and the picnic tables are in good shape. Try and pick a campsite that has water nearby and you won’t have to unhook your rig to fill your tanks. Fishing, beach on the lake, boat rentals and tons of trails to hike or ride your bike. Bath houses are plentiful and spotless. Push button showers are a bit of a pain and there are no full service sites. Choose your site carefully and you will have a great stay here.

Peaceful

From the main road it’s not what you’d expect. Once inside this jewel of a campground you will be like everyone else. This is awesome. The setting, sites and all around feel if this place is just what we like. Spacious, privacy but friendly campers. Level, awesome views and a stones throw to the beach.

Great atmosphere

From the main road it’s hard to see what a cute jewel of a campground this is. Level, gravel, water and electric. Pump service available or a dump station is available. Interior sites are 40.00 and water view are 50.00 per night.

Convienent

Just a quarter mile from I/65 south of Birmingham this place is all pull through, gravel, level with full hookups. Bath and showers are available. 35.00 per night it is great for an overnight stop.

Very spacious

We managed to snap up site #43 out of pure luck. Level, water and electric while most of the campground is electric only. No full hook ups available. All the lots are paved and our site is located under an enormous oak tree. The campground is just minutes to the state park and Lake Barkley. Only 2 hours from home this park is worth the drive several times a year.

Super quiet

Fairly new with great access to fishing. Bike riding enjoying nature. Several pull through sites and all are full hook up.

Unique

This is a concert/event center that has a campground on site. What a fun way to see concerts or have a company picnic or wedding. Water and electric on level ground is 36.00 er night. A small beach at the lake is a great place to cool off.

Very cozy

Dirt sites that need some attention but level for the most part. Full hook up at site 11 was far enough from the lake that no one else was around for most of the day. Shower house was just a few steps away as was laundry.

Bring level blocks!!

This used to be a great little place to go for a weekend getaway but not so much anymore. There are only one or two spots in the campground even close to level. The showers are clean and the whole camp is close to every store, distillery and restaurant you would want. Plan accordingly.

Sweet little campground

Just 4 miles from highway 62 in Kuttawa, KY and it feels like another place in time. You can fish Lake Barkley from your campsite or just enjoy the waves washing up. Level gravel sites with tables and a big fire pit with a cooking grate. Nice shade trees and some nature trails. There is a very convenient boat launch. Patti’s 2800 settlement is just down the road and some good restaurants in the area too.

Great vacation spot

GPS took us in a very rural way with lots of twisty roads. One there we found an open spot on our own since it was a holiday the office was closed. Full hook ups and a fairly level grass pad. Not bad for an overnight. There are tons of thing to do here especially if you like to fish!

Close to the beach

Was raining when we arrived on Christmas Eve and the office was closing early. Very helpful. Site #71 backs up to possum pond which has real steep sides. Don’t fall in!. Laundry and showers are open 24-7 and the camp store is fairly well stocked. Walmart is close by if need be.

Beautiful

All concrete roads and campsites with patio and picnic tables. No fire pits or rings. Very private feeling between camp sites with lots of trees. Lakes for fishing and a tram that runs every hour. Just a 1/4 mile south of hwy 98 in 30A.

Easy access

Our trip was cut short due to an accident but the park was very pleasant. Lots of trees, camp store, and a small club house. Very close the the ferry across the bay for a day trip and walking distance to Fort Gains for some interesting history.
