In town so cell service with Tello for my iPad and ATT for my phone was very good.
TravelerThe campground is right off Hwy 84 but the road noise is very minimal with more of a hum and lack of jake-braking. Some train noise in the distance, but during our week-long stay, we were never woken up by one. This is a quiet campground. The long term tenants live their daily lives and keep to themselves. The dog area is just a fenced in section up front. No poop bags, but there is a bucket for you to throw away your own. The sites are very large all with full hookup. If you are here during high winds, the interstate berm/overpass blocks much of it. Expect lots of dust, but no trash. They keep things picked up. Good for passing through or just staying outside of Lubbock.
If you have kids: You are close to the Lubbock Science Spectrum Museum which is part of the ASTC Passport Program. It is a great place to spend the day.

There are around 7 overnight sites that are near the office, laundry, and pool. They accept reservations and the office is open from 9-5 and a night manager is onsite. Great place!

RangerLocation is right off Hwy 84, Slaton, Texas, so traffic is loud. We reserved a spot and did not pay the 'confirm' fee to ensure that we got that spot (so, they reserved the right to change us). However, when we got there, the host offered us a better spot--yay. We had grass adjacent to us (other spots did not) and it was close to bathroom/shower (they were clean). Site was level, not shaded, no table. There were a number of long-term residents, park was clean, well-kept and otherwise peaceful (aside from hwy noise).
GuideOne would think with free 30 & 50 amp and water hook up it should be a five star. Problem is your so close to the road theirs a lot of traffic noise. Not only that, the building in the park which host the sites is also used as a activity center which is busy during the day. Theirs trash dumpsters, dump station and enough room for 8 rv’s that are pretty level. When I was there in late March, it was 3 of us which didn’t feel too cramped. You get 2 days free, then $10 a night after that. Great for a overnight or have something to do in Floydada.
LegendPretty simple place to stay. Has 30 amp electric (shared post), water (shared spigot) and a dump station. No FHU at sites. Most are back in but has a couple of pull thru's. There are a few that look like have been here awhile, so space is limited. Some sites have low hanging tree branches and sites are short. We got our 40' in but luckily found a site that had no back post so we could back in further. Traffic noise is tolerable but is quiet after 10pm. It is greatly appreciated that the city opened it up and allows us to use.
