Nice and secluded

This is a nice site at end of turn around. Next to a nice pond. About 5 miles from I20. No amenities. Beware only one camp site.

Great

Nice area off main road. Each spot has water and 30 amp electric. Dump station at lower edge. A bit loud with cars.

Full hookups

This was a nice spot to stop for the night. Take showers. Do laundry. Empty tanks full water tanks. Garbage. Quiet. Lots of spaces.

Close to park

This is very close to park. Quiet place to stay. Picnic tables. No electric. There is a campground across the street that has electric.

Easy

This is a large parking lot in the middle of town. Not much else to say

Close to road

This place is close to main road and Flagstaff. Lots of garbage around and a couple junk campers. Otherwise is was okay. Not much traffic noise.

Nice sites

This is a quiet place to camp. Lots of sites. Not far from main rd. Great slot canyons and devils garden right down the road. No water, dump or bathrooms.

Close to Zion

This is BLM camping. It is designated sites only. I think there are 58 total. Spaced out nice. Great views. No water, toilets or electric. No garbage. Less than 1/2 hour to Zion. Nice dirt road coming in. Can get windy.

Close to valley of fire

There is a number of dirt roads that offer sites before you get to spot marked on map. Beautiful views. Road doesn’t have much for traffic. Can get windy.

Great location by water

This is a great spot to swim or boat. Very pretty. Not super busy during the week. Lots of room to park. Not very level. Vault toilet. Road coming in is 3 1/2 miles of washboard and ruts. Some bad hills with ruts. 4x4 if pulling a trailer is needed. You should see some wild burros and coyotes.

It’s okay

This is a small desert campground. Drinking water but no water or dump for camper. Lots of cars in and out all night. Not sure why. Toilet but no showers. No electric.

The pads

This place was great. Cement pads for parking. No toilets, dump or water. Close to Death Valley. Super quiet. Around 100 pads. We saw only a couple camper each day.

Close to Kings canyon.

This was a nice and clean campground. 5 sites. Vault toilet. Nice spaced out sites. Sites fill up a few hours before dark. There is a generator that runs an employee house from 7:00am-10:00pm.

Close to park has pool

Nice little campground. Sites are tight. Outdoor showers. Nice bathrooms. Pool at lodge next door that you can use. Camp store.

Loud and expensive

I can not even begin to tell you how bad this campground is. Loud with highway noise, factory next door and train goes through many times a night. Most camper are there full time and are very sketchy. Junk all over. Bathrooms gross. $55 a night to not sleep and be grossed out.

Okay

It is a parking lot behind the Olive Pit. Lots of traffic noise. Okay if you want a free spot to sleep for the night.

Close to Lassen park

This is a quiet campground. Full hook ups. Only 9 miles to Lassen Southwest entrance. Right off RT 36.

Close to Lassen

This campground has many spaces available. I had a 21’ travel trailer and wouldn’t want anything bigger. Tight driving around all the trees. Vault toilets. 3 miles from Lassen northeast parking lot. Cinder cone. No water, garbage or dump.

Close to park

This is a huge paved parking lot not far from Crater lake. They have bathrooms. Can hold lots of RVs. No one there the 3 days we stayed except before dark we had a few people show up.

Close to redwood

This is a nice campground with little campsites. We had a 21’ travel trailer and could barely fit down the roads in campground. Very dark because of trees. Not solar friendly. Showers and flush toilets. Potable water.
