Large spaced out sites.

Stayed here after the snowmagedon storm. The park facilities were clean. And the staff friendly.

Lake View, Toilets, Water, Free

Peaceful Army Corps of Engineer park with 12 sites, half are shaded. Clean vault toilets, dumpsters, and water between most sites, covered picnic tables and fire pits, a few have stand up grills. Some locals take the sites for day use fishing so those might open up towards evening. Entry gate…

Neat and Clean

What a beautiful park. Lake front, kayak rentals with a great cove to paddle around in. Walking trails galore. Nice bathrooms, with showers. Flower Mound is a lovely town with any restaurant you could imagine 7-10 miles away

Wish we had stayed here

We didn't actually camp here. We were camped nearby at Possum Kingdom State Park and came here to check things out. The sites were large, wooded with privacy. Lots of cool trails. Lots of birds around the lake.

Has potential!

This place is calm and pleasant during the day. At sundown, the party starts and goes till 2:00am. If you are looking for a quiet evening, this ain’t the place. If you are good with day time activities and loud music at night, join the party. My kids and I will go back simply because it is a clean…

Family Fun

This typically isn’t our type of park but the kids enjoyed it. We went in October and they had some fun Halloween activities. Site was pull through but pretty tight and close to neighbor. Probably worth paying for premium. Nice large dog park and clean restrooms/bathhouse.

The six flags of all jellystones

We are from Houston and I opt to drive 4 hours to this one in burleson. Waller is good fun but that park does not compare to this site. The website doesn’t do burleson/n Texas jellystone justice for how good it actually is. Bring bikes!

Great place !!

Me and my wife loved this place. Great bike trails . Friendly staff and lovely sites, each pretty secluded from eachother. Also they have electric and water hookups. Dont know why it says no electric on this site . Would rate it a 5 star if it had full hookups but we had to use the dump station.…

My favorite

One of my favorite Texas state parks. Ve RT y nice campground on a lake. But do NOT miss the penitentary. Cliffs forming a prison below used during the civil war. Amazing rock structure with rock climbers.

10/10 Primitive Camping

Gorgeous view of the lake with nearby restroom. Drive a bit further than the pinned location towards the lake on the right. I saw a few other tenters, car campers, and RVs. Great cell phone reception and awesome lakeside table. Doesn’t get much better than this!

Great for hiking and climbing

Pretty accessible if you live in Tarrant County for day tripping. Covid restrictions keep us out on our first attempt to visit the park. Our second trip we made reservations for a day pass. We went to hike aloo g rocky cliff side of the lake. The hike is longer than you’d think and less interesting…
