    Lakewood Camping Resort

    Quiet, comfortable, and convenient.

This was our first time staying here, and since it was the off-season, we enjoyed a peaceful visit. We stayed in the lovely area of the campground near Crater Lake, with a concrete pad, and the site was nicely level. Even some of the non-concrete spots looked very level. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The bathrooms were spotless, adding to our comfort. Exploring the grounds was a real pleasure, and we loved the easy access to the beach and all the attractions in Myrtle Beach. Plus, having a Walmart just across the street made everything so convenient. We're already excited about coming back!”,

    Pitts Landing Dispersed

    Easy in, easy out

The drive in was smooth, dirt road but smooth if your driving at night.

Big open space where the boat ramp is, spots that are tucked away in the trees are sandy terrain and heard you can get stuck.

Be vigilant, heard there may be a woman searching for food. Otherwise everyone coming there early are fisherman.

A little noise from the road but it is a beautiful spot.

    Myrtle Beach State Park Campground

    Easy stay rough internet

The staff was great at helping with an alternative spot due to needing WiFi. I was in spot 63 but had spotty starlink.

Spots right in front of the store may be good and spot 68 (I think it was right in front of my spot, perpendicular). I scanned the sky and there were 2 of 4 green lights for Starlink.

    Jones Lake Family Campground

    Great stay at Jones Lake

The sites are clean, spacious, and beautifully wooded, just far enough apart to feel private while still being close to the trails and lake access. Bathrooms and showers were clean with great hot water, the picnic areas were tidy, and the whole park had a natural feel that makes it easy to unwind. It’s a great spot for families, dogs, and anyone who wants a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting.

    Myrtle Beach State Park Campground

    Myrtle Beach SP

300 Sandy mostly level sites, with a mix of tenting to full hookups and room for big rigs. Go for the beach, but stay for Johnny D’s breakfast just down the road. Nice camp store with lots of beach stuff. No Alcohol.

    Willow Tree RV Resort

Best campground we stayed at this year

This place is so amazing. Everything here on site is neat clean and in good working order all the recreational facilities are fresh and new. The bathrooms are absolutely cleaned very carefully. There were many surprises here as we enjoyed all the facilities. A local food truck came by to serve hot wings one evening. There will be a pancake breakfast in the morning and that’s a nice treat on a travel day the Pickleball courts are some of the best we’ve seen as is the bocce and shuffleboard the waterfront has anything you would never need to enjoy the lake. We will most definitely come here again and again and recommend it to everyone. My five stars doesn’t come easy, but it was easy to give to this place.

CarrollWoods RV Park at Grapefull Sisters Vineyard

    Lovely campground

We stayed here on Labor Day weekend 2025. The staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. The grounds before you enter the campground area are beautiful and well kept. The campground itself has many spacious, full hook up sites with packed gravel foundation. There’s no grass due to the mature pine trees but the community areas have lush lawn and beautiful flowers especially around the pond. The bathhouse and laundry were sufficient. They had a nice pool, playground, volley ball court and horseshoe pits. They have a large dog park. We look forward to inviting some friends to join us for group camping here sometime soon. Their nightly rates were very reasonable.
