Toll Bridge Park Campground

This park has everything except a dump station, but there is one in Hood River for 10.00. You can get non riverside spots for 35.00 with electric and water or choose from 5 riverside spots for 50.00 per night. One of the riverside sites does not have utilities I think it is #71. All sites are first come first serve.  It is lush and green with a large park and play area at the front. There are picnic areas for groups too as well as group campspots. The bathrroms are about 1.50 for 6 minutes and are clean. This is one of our favorite parks!!!!

We had a great time with friends spending 3 nights at this campground. There is a lot to offer for everyone. If you enjoy hiking there are plenty of trails to explore. Places to chill by the river and just relax. Restrooms are clean. The park is spotless and camp hosts are amazing. Had 2-3 bars 5g with Verizon. There are 3 different camp loops each with their own appeal. We will come back for sure.

We got a spot backed up to the river and it's gorgeous. Friendly staff. Quiet here and amazing drive part way up Mt Hood to get here with views of the mountain peak. Walmart within 25 miles if you need supplies. Highly recommend this place.

Came here on a hot summer day when I wanted to plug in for A/C. This place was perfect. All sites are First come First serve- and I lucked in when someone was pulling out of a river side site. 

Stayed two nights and enjoyed the sound of the river outside by door, cool AC running. The staff is great. It's run by Hood River County.

Found this campground by default and boy did we luck out. Just 5 spots and we had it all to ourselves. Couple of workers in the area came by to use the pit toilet other than that it was just perfect.

This park has always been a favorite of ours. Nestled at the base of Mt Hood, there are awesome hikes just a short drive away. And in the fall you can go apple picking at the orchards everywhere.

The campground is on the river and we enjoyed listening all night. Very quiet at night.

Stayed three nights with roomy site, awesome camp hosts and quiet at night. Clean coin op showers and ample garbage facilities. Park close to the river with some sites riverfront.

Great place to stay and explore nearby attractions. Water and electricity no dump station, closest is Hood river. Going south there is no dump close.

$30/night. Electric and non-electric sites. No host while I was here for 6 nights, but a County worker was here everyday keeping the place clean. No dump station. $.75 for 3 minutes in shower.

We picked this campground because it was first come first available and the website gives pretty accurate occupancy percentages. We arrived and got site 76 which isn't directly next to the river, but the sound of water filled our night and day. Beautiful campground and the host was quite friendly. We did visit a nearby winery and ice cream store, but we really enjoyed peaceful sound from the river and wooded scenery.

Me and my family just love this place. We come here every year and our daughters just love the adventures of this camp ground. 🏕

I arrived after sunset, the road to the site was narrow. Pulled into the site to find the electrical box out of order, took 6 more sites to find a working box. It had been cloudy so we really needed a recharge and had to settle for 15amp because that is all that would work. If we hadn't needed electric it would've been a beautiful stay!

Stayed here for two nights in June for a trail running race.  We stayed in site 82, nice flat parking area for a campervan.  The site was right along the main road of the park but was still very quiet.  Right along the river so the sound of the water made for nice white noise in the background.  The sites along the water in the West Fork section were the nicest.  Sites were first come first serve, we arrived on a Thursday (second week of June) and there were plenty of sites, and nowhere near full Friday/Saturday night either (some rain in the forecast may have impacted that).  We visited Moby coffee shop/roaster and Grateful vineyard (also a brewery with great beer and amazing view from their outdoor seats) and loved both places.

2 DOLLARS TO CROSS EACHWAY BETWEEN OREGON AND WASHINGTON BUT WELL WORTH THE VISIT. If you want to avoid the Koa in cascade locks camp at the pacific crest trailhead on the Washington side of the bridge or take a right to the state park a mile down but it's 15 for standard site

My friend and I had a lovely week+ long stay at this campground while attending a class a few minutes up the road. The bathrooms and showers were clean and it felt like we had them to ourselves most of the time. The campsites are spread apart and separated by many trees, so our site felt very private even with other campers around us. The hosts of this campground are also lovely and friendly people. I hope to come back!

Toll Bridge is close to everything. Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boardsailing, kite boarding... This area is a maca for all season sports. The charming town of Parkdale is a couple miles away, and Hood River just 15. Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows are 33 and 20 miles south on hwy 35. Blossom Festival is in April. The Hood River County Fair in July and Harvest Festival in October are just a few of the highlights. After an active day settle into camp with the River babbling close by. There's even a childrens park and covered picnic area. Nestled at the base of Mount Hood, this is an area not to be missed.

July 2020 - Great campground! All the tent sites were filled but they were allowing tent campers to stay in the RV spots. There are a few spots that have trails at the back of the site that lead to the river. It was great for relaxing after a long day. The RV spot had a water spout. Bathrooms nearby.

Great experience here, the grounds were clean and the host constantly working or cleaning. It was quiet too. It’s a first come first serve campground.

$30 for site 65 right on the creek with access. Picnic table and fire ring.

Just visited this campsite today to see what's what, and hopefully set up camp. Alas, there isn't any Verizon service here, which I need to do work on the road, so I couldn't stay. Bummer too, because the area is gorgeous.

The campground itself is quite small, with some sites closer together and not enjoying that much privacy, and others tucked further back with more privacy. There's a river that runs next to the campground. The water was cold in October, but not that cold. I'd imagine on a hot summer day it'd be great for a dip.

Picnic tables, bathroom, and firepits. Alas, no fires allowed when I was there, but that is to be expected after such a horrible wildfire season in Oregon and the West Coast in general.

Would definitely camp here if I didn't need reception. Cool place, very quiet, beautiful locale.

Secret good spot close to wine tasting in the gorge. Get in early get yourself some river front on the east fork of the hood river. Muy bueno!

I’ve stayed at this camp ground a hand full of times. I live maybe 15 20 minutes away and it’s always great! The camp ground is a good size with many tent and RV sites. If you get the right spot it can be a very private experience and you could be close to the river. Otherwise some sites can be kinda small and close. But there’s many sites to chose from and gets pretty popular with a lot of traffic. Showers were recently re painted during last visit and the bathroom is ok.

When intuition draws you to a place for no other reason than a feeling, you’d be smart to follow it.

That’s what led us to Tollbridge, a lightly used campsite 15 miles south of Ukiah on Highway 325. At first it’s not much to see, but ale a chance and unpack or a night or two and you’ll be glad you did.

There is light activity on the gravel road behind the campground, but most turns east rather than crossing the bridge that gives this site it’s name. Just under the bridge is a perfect swimming hole, and up river either way decent water for brookline fishing. With only 5 sites, only 2 of which can accommodate RVs, this place stays quiet even on the busiest of weekends.

Go for a swim, walk a long the river, and end the day next to the fire as the sound of the river washes away the outside world.

This place is awesome for family camping. They have a playground and well maintained showers and bathrooms(very clean). The real magic here though is the sound of the river as you drift off to sleep.

Located on the Hood River, right off Highway 35 near the small town of Parkdale, this park was an unexpected pleasant find. The sites used to be reservable, but are now first come, first available. The camp host was very friendly as was the resident cat, Huck, who came right up to us and hung out for a while. The sites offer a varying amount of privacy; the East Fork loop is more of an open space, with the sites close together and closer to the road (you will hear road noise). But, the sites along the Hood River (West Fork Loop) are separated by trees and much nicer (and a little more expensive but worth it). Site 82, a sort-of pull through, is right on the river. Showers were nice with lots of hooks; restrooms were reasonably clean but only had cold water. Only negative: the dumpster was overflowing; hopefully, this was just left over from the Memorial Day weekend. Nice, large day use area with a playground. Excellent internet/cell coverage.

We decided to pack up and go camping with no reservations and where able to snag one of the last sites. It was the middle of a rare northwest heat wave and we had no shade at our site so we spend most of the time down by the river. there where many places to sit in the water and play and it doesn't move to terribly fast. The park, bathrooms and picnic areas all kept in tip top shape. The camp sites all had picnic tables and firepits. Some where very large sites others only big enough for a two person tent. Over all great park!

The camp is pretty well maintained, but the sites are small and right on top of each other. The river is great to have close. There is also a day use area with playground. The location is convenient to Hood River.
