LegendCedar Oaks is a very easy campground (CG) to find and get into. We did not have a designated site number but had requested back-in site 90 on the lake or a pull through from 64 to 73. We got our first choice and after an easy check-in we were escorted to site 90 and were assisted backing in. This site had a large lawn area due to site 91 being decommissioned because of flooding a while back. We enjoyed a very nice lake view as this site is probably the best site in the park. The site next to us, 89, was very near on our utilities side, but 89 still had some lake view. There is no cable TV here but we got a good variety of OTA channels. We got 3 bars on Verizon and the park WiFi was average for a park this size. There are permanent and seasonal residents here plus dedicated transit/short term areas. Most sites in this CG have a shot to the southern sky if you want to use satellite. There are two small fenced dog areas but plenty of room to walk your dogs. There is also a bathhouse and boat launch plus slips. This was our second stay here and we would stay here again in the future.
LegendGopher Valley campground in on of several campground in the Twin Bridges area of Grand Lake State Park. This campground is fully paved with both full hook up RV camping area, tent camping area and areas that work for both. Campground have drive through and pull in sites. Sites all have picnic tables and metal fire rings. Campground has a large pavilion which can be rented. The pavilion has a huge BBQ grill. Campground has a small playground for the kids. Small restroom with showers is available. With the exception of the RV pull through sites all the other sites have plenty of grass to set up a tent. Sites can be reserved.
GuideI go here with my friends every summer we hike almost all the trails , it’s gorgeous last time I went there (summer of 23) we saw a wild river otter swimming there is so much wildlife out there and it’s just gorgeous absolutely stunning and worth visiting, family friends and dog / pet friendly if you want to take your dogs on a hike this is the place , has stairs and is not very handicapped accessible if you want to go to the bottom of the falls but it is completely accessible for a wheelchair if you just want to view the falls from the top and there are multiple handicapped accessible paved paths !
TravelerNice quiet campground on Grand Lake. Spots are spacious on back-in concrete pads. Each spot has 50/30/20 power, bbq grill, fire ring, picnic table and light on the power pole. There are flush toilets and hot showers in the bathrooms. Reservations are easily made online. We had a spot near the water with a nice view of the lake. I had good 5G cell reception with Verizon.

Lots of grass. Patio sites are available. Internet is poor, as typical of most RV parks. Cable tv with about 30 channels. Good stopover park.

TravelerWe had a great extended weekend (Wed-Sun) at Prairie Creek. Our little loop was nice and secluded while being close to the shower house and park. Traffic was minimal in the camping areas but the entrance point to the park could get busy with a lot of boat traffic. Luckily, there is a separate road to the marina and it was only congested at the entrance.
We used the 30A and water hookups and both worked seamlessly. Water tasted fine, not bad, not great. We only used it for washing dishes and brushing teeth. Showered at the shower house which had room temperature water.
Our site (27) was relatively level. Took 1 leveling block on the passenger side and we were set. We have a relatively long pop-up and still had ample room at the back of our site for bikes and space or the truck up front. There was a noticeable dip from the road to the site but it was manageable. Some other sites were much worse. The paved areas for our site were level-ish but anything away from the picnic table area and parking had a significant slope.
Docked 1 star due to the conditions I saw other spaces in and the dated shower house could use a refresh (or just some fans to move air during the hot days)
