Best RV Parks & Resorts near Long Lane, MO

Several RV parks surround Long Lane, Missouri, providing convenient access for motorhome travelers exploring the Ozarks region. Fishing Tales Resort in Lebanon offers full hookup sites with 50-amp service and accommodates big rigs year-round. Just south in Phillipsburg, Rustic Trails RV Park features water, electric, and sewer connections with both 30 and 50-amp options on level gravel pads. RV Express 66 in Marshfield provides big-rig friendly sites with full hookups, though reservations aren't accepted. Lamplight Lane RV Resort at Glen Oaks in Waynesville maintains year-round operations with spacious sites for larger motorhomes. "Sites were level, concrete pad surrounded by grass, site sufficient length for trailer and tow vehicle," noted one RV camper about the region's state park campgrounds.

Cell service varies significantly throughout the area, with most RV parks reporting 3-4 bars on Verizon but spotty coverage with other carriers. Dump stations are available at most parks, though some charge additional fees for non-guests. Summer months bring higher occupancy rates, particularly at lakeside RV campgrounds near Lake of the Ozarks. Pet-friendly policies are standard across most RV parks, though some enforce breed restrictions or designated pet areas. Many campgrounds feature pull-through sites that accommodate larger rigs without disconnecting tow vehicles. Gravel roads and occasional rutted entrances can make access challenging during wet weather. One traveler noted, "The road also gets a little steep and winding to the 30 amp sites," highlighting the importance of researching specific site access before arrival with larger motorhomes.

Lake of the Ozarks State Park Campground

Pretty camping area, lake was filthy and smelly

This was a pretty campsite with lots of trees and simple deer trails throughout. Sites are well spread out. The lake itself was filthy and smelly. Lots of trash and rotting fish on the shorelines. The campground website said they had WiFi throughout the campsite, however it was only available at the front office. No cell service. We had planned to stay for a week to school and work remotely, but had to cut our time here short because of no connectivity. If we hadn’t had the need for WiFi, this would have been a fine campground to stay at, as it is centrally located to many sightseeing locations.

Sties were level, kid and pet friendly, quiet campground, 30/50 amp electricity, no water hookups, firewood avail for fire pits, also had nice picnic tables. Inexpensive.

    Fishermans Paradise

    Off the beaten path

For starters the RV park is about 1/4 down a 1 lane gravel road so if you’re pulling a big rig you better hope you don’t meet another vehicle. All the 50 amp full hookup sites seem to be in use by permanent residents. The 30 amp sites are not on level ground. No water or sewer connections for the 30 amp sites. The road also gets a little steep and winding to the 30 amp sites. Nice small lakes make for a nice view once you get into the valley.

    Damsite

    Good fishing and great views

Very peaceful campground. It has a peninsula with some nice, shady sites but also another very wooded area on a bluff. The backside of the peninsula has zero shade (sites 26-40). All sites have good picnic tables and fire rings. Sites near the dump station can be very aromatic. No swim beach but you can access the water straight from the rocky shore. A lot of people tie their boats to shore below their campsite. There is a gas station/trading post right outside the entrance. And a tasty little restaurant with all kinds of sandwiches and ice cream treats. Beautiful sunrises and the sun sets over the dam. I really like this campground. Family friendly and everyone seems to have a dog:) but people do a good job of picking up after them.

    Lambert's Cafe RV Park

    Okay for an Overnighter

After reading a couple of reviews on this new campground (CG), we called about availability and got someone at Lambert’s Cafe who was not much help. We arrived at this new RV park addition to Lambert’s Cafe from I-57 with no issues. Coming in from I-57, we followed the signs for Lamberts and J.T. RV Park on the left side of the road. The entrance to the RV area is the second entrance into Lambert’s main parking lot. You follow the signage back to the CG which sits off to the right and behind Lambert's. This CG is first-come-first-serve. There’s a sign at the kiosk that states sites 6, 7, 8, 9, 27, 28, 29, 30,& 31 are for stays of one week or longer. We selected and parked in site 25 with FHUs, and then went back to the kiosk and paid our$40. The sites are narrow and very close to each other but this was on a Sunday and the park was fairly empty. There were about five transients overnight along with the four long-termers so having someone next to you was not an issue. There is no fire pit, picnic table, cable, or WiFI. One of the long-termers told me there’s a plan to put in a shower house, restrooms, and other amenities. We do not know if this is factual as we did not see any camp-host type of person during our stay. The CG is in an industrial area and we heard backing beeps at about 2:00 AM for a few minutes but other than that it was not bad for this type of area near a main road. We noticed a long-term resident taking their dog out and not picking up after the pet, which seemed to be common based on the'land mines' we noted while walking our dogs around. There is a dump station here that is a $10 fee if not staying in the CG. Lambert's Cafe is within easy walking distance. We had good water pressure at 50 psi and 4 bars on Verizon. This place is pretty much a parking lot with no trees so no problem with satellite. We got a good variety of OTA stations as well. This CG was a little on the pricey side for what you get unless maybe you are a huge Lambert’s Cafe fan. No surprises at this new RV Park as the sites are pretty much level and the roads easy to navigate. However, this place worked for an overnighter.

    Turkey Creek RV Park

    Nice Campground! Nice and Quiet!

Turkey Creek was a very nice campground for our month long stay.  The park is well maintained and clean.  It is very quiet!  There is a train track nearby, but we only heard it a few times during our stay.

Amenities included full hook up, laundry room, bathrooms, showers and a fenced dog park where you 4 legged friends can enjoy some off-leash time.  We had 4 bars with AT&T and waffled between 1-3 bars with Verizon.

The location is great for visiting local attractions such as Branson Landing, Silver Dollar City and Top of the Rock.

Really appreciate the park manager, she was friendly and brought an overpayment to our attention and quickly issued a refund.

    Great experience overall!

    Springfield - Route 66 KOA

    Great Stay

Shaded, great amenities, friendly staff, LOVE the pull throughs. I have a pop up that’s a pain to reverse. Almost all (if not all) these sites, you can pull through the actual site! Not the jsut the campground. 👌🏽

    Laurie RV Park

    Nothing fancy

We stayed here for 3 weeks, full hookups, all large pull through sites, (don’t stay in site 16)… (see photo) clubhouse and shower house is kinda nasty but we don’t need it, 6-8 trailers live there year round, no staff on site, WiFi was sketchy but if you are just looking for a place to stay and explore the Ozarks it works.
