Zan's Creekside Campground is a family owned and operated park. We offer RV camping, tent sites, and day time access to the river for non-campers.
30 and 50 amp RV Sites are OPEN YEAR ROUND!!!!
All RV sites are naturally shaded by the plentiful supply of tall trees on the campground. Also, all sites are less than a one minute walk to the beach. Popular activities include river tube floating from Grand Falls to our location. Grand Falls is about five minutes away by car, the return float trip takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours (we DO rent tubes, we do NOT provide transportation). Our location is very popular for launching or retrieving kayaks and we provide parking for vehicles left at one end of the trip (we do NOT rent kayaks). Fishing is always an enjoyable pastime here as well.
We offer weekly and monthly rates for both 30 amp and 50 amp RV Sites.
Well behaved pets are welcome. Alligators must be kept on a short leash!!
$20 - $40 / night

These clubhouses can be reserved for larger groups or special events including but not limited to wedding receptions, parties, retirements, game nights, movie nights, etc. Hang out at your RV site, take a walk in the woods, or stop by one of the clubhouses for a game of cards or pool. Beach, shelter areas, boat ramp, camping areas, RV hookups, showers. Not well maintained, but free. Industrial fans across the beach are an eye sore
This park is in our hometown. It's where we stay when we are not traveling. We have stayed in a number of the sites. They are somewhat close but it's never been an issue. Full hookups. Grocery store is literally minutes away. The RV Park is located at the south end of town on Highway 59. The owner is very accommodating. Good Verizon signal. Park has wi-fi. Oswego has a beautiful city park. Fishing is popular here, at the Neosho River and in the nearby mined pits. Also nearby is Big Brutus, the largest electric shovel in the world.
Cheap full hook ups at a nice lakeside campground, they also have a hotel and cabins that are nice getaways. The food at the restaurant is pretty good as well.
Level sites with full hookups. 30,50 amp, water, sewer on every site. Owners are really nice, and keep everything well maintained. Nice small catch and release pond. Has 2 club houses with large grills and 3 cabins also. Had a very nice quiet relaxing weekend.
Clean and well maintained KOA. Friendly personnel. Shaded, pull thru sites as well as back-ins, cabins, and tent sites. Sites are very level with crushed stone pads. Good water pressure. Lots of grass. Patio sites are available. Internet is poor, as typical of most RV parks. Cable tv with about 30 channels. Good stopover park.
Tent area is undeveloped, but the lawn is fairly level, bathrooms and showers are only a short walk away. Nicole showed me to the site and was a wonderful help. Great spot that most people might pass up because its right next to the highway, but honestly you can barely tell aside from the hum of trucks. Bathrooms are beautiful and clean, 2 toilets, 2 showers and a sauna in each. The place is quiet and seems like a lot of people here are long term residents. We are in a tent on the back lawn by a small fishing lake. Nice playground for younger kids and you cant beat the atmosphere and the birds. Free on-site laundry which I took advantage of when I needed to wash and dry my blanket on a cold night. Unfourtunately no campfire for tent camp sites, but bring a camp stove and you'll be fine. They are actively doing renovations and the office isnt open yet, so you have to call the park manager, Kim, for info and she is wonderful. All the staff is. Kim came by and took my son and 2 other kids on a golf cart ride on the trail behind the lake and they had a blast. We are loving it here and are sad to be leaving after the weekend. Update: I have just been informed they have a Willie Nelson impersonator doing a show here tonight, this place would get 6 stars if I could.
Noesho's Hickory Creek RV park is a nice park with mowed grass everywhere, gravel roads and grass sites. The site are only $12 per night. But be warned....No tent camping is allowed and you need to go to city hall to pay your camping fee as the campground does not have a place to self register, so if you plan on staying here you will need to get to city hall before they close for the day, and they are only open from Monday - Friday. Site use to allow tents, but does not now, most likely due to the fact that their are no restroom facilities at this campground. All the sites come with water and electric hook ups, and their is a RV dump. Train tracks adjoining the park and these are busy tracks with trains running day and night. Two sides of the park have a street and a highway alongside, but traffic is slow so it seems to be fairly quiet. The campground is part of a much larger city park. Part of the frisbee golf course runs around the camping area, and across the road is a nice bike path. Hickory creek runs along the edge of the park and has good fishing. Sites do not have picnic tables but their are a few in the park witch you can use. No campfires.
Stayed overnight in this lovely RV park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The park is really lovely with plenty of large trees and green grass and spacious sites. This is one of the nicest RV stays I’ve had. We enjoyed a garden right outside our door. There was free wi-go and cable TV. There was a BBQ our first night which was so gracious and enjoyable after a long day of driving. I wish we had planned a longer stay. I highly recommend.
Real nice park Especially for what we paid. $8.00 for electric only per night. Senior rate off season, $2.00 discount. Two loops East & West. We stayed in the east on a fairly level site, all nicely spaced. Most sites are pretty level, except some that back to the woods. Good ATT signal. Did not try OTATV. Dump & fresh water were near by. Real friendly camp host. A great night over for us.
This place was very quiet. We arrived and the owner was extremely helpful and nice. We were passing through town and found this place. Full hookups and level spots. Would recommend.
I stayed in one of the airbnb cabins this past summer and it was super comfortable. Everything I needed for a great stay. Awesome managers and such a peaceful surrounding. I know there are new pedestals and hookups for RVs and they have been working on the swimming pool for 2023. The A-frame cabin is being renovated for a new laundry facility and new showers/bathrooms too.
Osage Prairie, Site #46 (46 total sites), long enough for tt and truck, gravel, full hookup, close, but not bad, on interstate service road, no major noise, wifi poor, $39 with mil discount, otherwise $44 per night, no cable tv, no OTA TV, needed two blocks to level, some mature trees, some short sites, some longer, make sure to ask for longer,
This place is a small park that has lots of hiking trails it is five dollars for tents $10 for RVs with electric the bathrooms are Porta potty but for five dollars you can fish and you can have a campfire permit pretty much anything you wanna do you can purchase by the day here for about five dollars each item is really a nice place for the family to come they had a super decorated for Christmas
Delightful office staff. We did not make advance reservations, but called when we were about an hour away and insured they had sites available. Long pull-thrus with full hookups. For an overnight stay, this is a nice campground.
Nice little privately owned campground with a great value for your $. Definitely off the beaten path but full hookups for $15 per night. No T-Mobile service. Kinda backwoods and could definitely use some updating but pleasant all the same.
Great little campground! Full hookups for reasonable price. Quiet and convenient. Good size sites and easy in/out! Very well maintained. Cute amenity buildings (built to look like old west). Small dog run area. Very cute field area with creek & playground & old rustic farm equipment made into yard decor.
We had reserved a spot that would have been too small for our rig. Owner had already caught my mistake on check in and moved us to a better spot. Shady spots, #22 is best. Full hookups. Cheap laundry at $2.50. Nice quiet setting and the owners are very helpful. We will be back.
Just got home from a weekend stay at site C19 at Hawker Point COE Park. This particular site was just up the hill from the lake and completely private. The walk to the lake was about 50 yards and a little steep but we managed to carry two kayaks down and up without too much trouble (and we are a middle-aged couple), and it was totally worth the effort because it was as if we had our own private cove.
The site is very spacious and shaded with plenty of trees for our hammocks and clothesline. Lots of level places for tents. The park attendants were very friendly and helpful.
C19 has no electricity or water and the closest vault toilet is a good walk down the road. The shower houses were driving distance away. We have a shower tent, so that wasn’t an issue for us.
We drove through the rest of this park to check out A and B campground loops. A loop consists of full hookup sites and many sit right on the water. Little shade and crowded, but if you like to play on the lake all day these might be for you. B loop had pretty wooded sites but many were not close to the water. C loop is where it’s at!
This RV campground is great for the ones looking for a quiet place to stay for a couple days or longer. It is very easy to get into from I44, the park is very well maintained and level sites, lots of trees. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed 2 nights on the 4th of July weekend and had a great time. They had a 4th of July celebration for the guests!!! I will definitely stay here again in the future!! Great place
This is a small municipal campground just outside of town on the banks of Spring River. It is a no frills campground- porta potties that need to be emptied and a big open field with no set campsites. There are a few scattered picnic tables and grills and even few fire rings. But, it’s $5 a night for tents and $10 for RVs, which are separated from each other. There is a boat ramp and some nice fishing spots, but it looks like getting in the water is the preferred method. Across the river there is a local rodeo arena.
This could be a really nice little campground if it weren’t for the party vibe starting at 7am (yep, there was that one guy pounding beer and cranking tunes at 7am). Camp sites are divided by the road with RVs on one side and tents on the other. A person can easily walk under the bridge to get from one side to the other without having to walk on the road. There are no designated sites for tents, and that means there are also no picnic tables or grills for tents (it looked like there were at least some grills and fire pits near the gravel parking pads for RVs). But, for $5 you can camp on the beach and Mike (the fellow who runs Zan’s) will help you get hooked up with kayaks or rafts to float the river. There are no showers. There’s a decent roadhouse just up the street for some eats.
Camped in Loop B on Oct 4, 2023. Camping was free at this Corp of Engineer campground since off season began on Oct 1st. The Loop B campground has several RV/tent sites arranged in sub-loops in an open field; some trees for shade. Sites are close to each other; no privacy between sites. Sites appear to be level. Each site has a metal fire ring, table and lamp pole. The loop road is paved and the sites were gravel. There were no hookups in Loop B. The water station was shut off, but the vault toilet, which wasn't very clean, was open. No camp host on duty during our stay. There is access to Stockton Lake from the loop road. There was nothing special about this campground, but has good lake access for boats. Otherwise this campgrund is suitable for an overnight stay.
Great camping spot with easy access to the lake and marina however there isn’t any water or sewer hookup on the camp site. Almost boondocking with electric hookup and a dump station.
Located on the east side of town by football stadium and baseball diamonds. Dog park on site. Electric hookups. Shelter area with picnic benches
We were just passing through and stayed for a night. We had sewer, water, and electric hookup. A nice dog park, and even found some 4 leaf clovers!
We overnighted here on the way to Hot Springs, AR. Convenient to Interstate 49, but virtually no traffic noise and none while inside the van. We arrived after the office had closed - there was a prominent note on the door as to which site to use. Electrical hookup was fine - we did not use water or cable. There were about a dozen other campers - most appeared to be long termers. The CG was VERY quiet - very peaceful. They have an off-leash dog park area which our dogs loved and used it 3-4 times the nite we were there. The bathrooms were toasty warm and VERY clean. Lavatory hot water got warm quickly, plenty of soap and towels. The office has various items for sale, from snacks to RV gear. Would not hesitate to stay again - in fact, may do so next week on our return trip.
We have stayed there about 6 times. Very quiet. Needs some renovations. Sites are not level and need either more gravel or concrete. Most of the sites are 30 amp and no dump station. Water and electric only.
Big rigs at some of the sites will have a problem. Renember this is a old campground. Fishing from the shore is great no boats. Adult children ( seniors) lol are there every day looking to catch dinner.
