    Santa Rosa RV Resort

    A week in the Sunshine

This campground is super clean and conveniently located. We loved the waterfront site……however you have to book well in advance. We were close to several great restaurants and shops. The drive to Santa Rosa beach was just around 10 minutes at most. We didn’t swim or do anything in the sound but next time would possibly rent a boat and Cruze it.

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Campground

Florida State park with best beach and biking

Topsail Hill State Park Santa Rosa Beach, FL  Great park! Tents, RVs full hookups, and nice cottages. We have a tiny trailer and there was torrential rain 2 days so locked up H@rvey and weathered the storm in a cottage. Campsites are paved or level gravel some areas are nicely spaced and private, others are very open. Only one bath house currently open but it's very clean, hot showers too. Bring your bike. There are so many great trails both paved and dirt. Bike or take the free tram to the beach. Beautiful white sand and turquoise ocean. No firepits. Free cable TV. Wifi at campstore that also has a connected coffee shop. Very convenient location with lots of stores and restaurants nearby

    Raccoon River Campground

An adventurous paradise away from the ocean paradise

I have read a lot of the reviews. I think some of these people had other issues that caused them to give a bad review. Yes, this is known as a cat haven but with people who have dogs should stay in the dog parks, If they don't accept a place that cannot turn a blind eye to cats. This is an RV park and a campground and I'm not sure why people would expect more luxury than the outdoors experience. This is a beautiful getaway away from the ocean but right next door, and people would love this place if they knew the history behind it and maybe honor it a little bit more. The impact from people that don't like this place gives it a bad reputation. Why listen to someone who don't want you to know about the experience? Just want you to know what they think about it. This is a great place and there are a lot of hardworking, honest people. This is not just a campground, people are residents here and have been here a long time, some would even call it home. There's nothing wrong with anything about this place. It is a wonderful place to be.

    A Cozy Corner RV Lodge

    Quaint RV Park!

Easy check in online. FHU-some shade, level concrete pad, picnic table. Easily backed in our 40 ft Montana. Very clean bathrooms, didn’t use just looked. Washer and dryer, and nice dog park. Close to lots of stores and restaurants, 20-30 min from beaches depending on traffic. Some traffic noise, since it’s next to a main road.

    River's Edge RV Campground

    Swampy!

We arrived and everything was dry. The next morning, our site had literally turned into a pond. By the time I finished packing up to leave, I literally looked like I jumped in the river with all of my clothes on. Haha I guess that’s camping in Florida for ya. The park was nice overall. The bathrooms were okay. Full hookups and lots of trees so our service was a little spotty.

    Pelican Palms RV Park

    Easy spot off the highway.

This camp ground is growing so there was quite a bit of construction debris around, but looking past that. This spot is literally right off Hwy 10 at exit 26 making it convenient for travelers. I would not recommend this campsite for true "camping". On ground fires are not allowed and there are no trails or walking areas. There is a small dog park but it is not really a "park". The Pool looked nice, but was closed. Nice shower house with great shower pressure. Probably 50/50 on folks living there and those just stopping through. I stayed 3 nights during the week, it was very quiet. The price is great for the location close to beaches, rivers and city. Not the prettiest camp ground, but if you just want to park your rig while you hit the beach, good choice.
