"On your way from Vegas to Zion there is a very short stretch of Arizona you pass though and if you blink you near miss this area."

LegendLocated right off the highway, this a great place to stay for one night or for longer periods. There seemed to be several full-timers living in the campground. You can hear the highway when you sleep, so try to request a site furthest from the road. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was welcoming and accommodating. There was not a dog park or any grassy areas that allowed pets which was a challenge.
RangerThis is a wonderful campground. The sites are well designed and some are really special. The reason I gave it only three stars has to do with pets. Dogs are not allowed on any hiking trails. They are allowed, however, on the paved bicycle trail which felt dangerous for both dogs and bicyclists. My 17 year old cat is a well seasoned camper. He free ranges around where he feels comfortable and always knows where home lies. The Camp Ranger ordered my cat to be leashed. That was a first in four months of camping and I knew it would not go well. We were going to stay for one week but left after only one night. Disappointed.
LegendThis place has it all!!! Pull through sites, back in, full hook ups, tables and trash cans at each site. A very nice rv spot, laundry, shuffle board, pool, dog park and a little put area. Your close to everything and restaurants nearby.
LegendThis KOA is located about ten minutes outside of St George and right off the I-15 freeway. It was all the amenities that your typical KOA has; dog park, hookups, cabins, and store. The best part of this KOA is its proximity to Red Cliffs National Conservation Area which is about a mile away. This National Conservation Area is surrounded by towering red cliffs that have miles of hiking trails through them. It's a great place to spend the day exploring.
The only downside is the traffic noise on the I-15 at night. But if you are in your RV or van you will hardly notice it. This is a good campground for any trip to Zion or the surrounding area.

GuideThis place is so nice! Spacious shower stalls with toilet, sink, bench and shower. Laundry facilities. Year round heated pool and hot tub. Store on site with decent prices. All spots have a tree with grass, picnic table and concrete pads. Also has small playground and dog park. Access to Virgin River with a primitive trail.
ScoutClean showers and toilets. Trees for shade. Pet area with dog bags. Conveniently located off the highway but the downside is you can hear the highway. Sites are pretty close to each other. Good for a stopover
RangerIf not for competing with the resorts on the strip in Las Vegas, this park meets all needs sufficiently. The dog parks could use some remodeling, and the sites are not landscaped. Pulling into the palm tree lined entrance is the best part. I was under a giant billboard, so this park leaves a lot to the imagination. There was nothing referencing the Vegas strip here, and I think that could be improved.
GuideThe park itself is nice. Full hook ups, heated pool and hot tub. Restrooms and laundry on site. Propane also on site. There are also a series of fenced in dog parks (3). So if you have dogs that don’t get along with other dogs that’s a plus because you can just go in a different one. The wifi is kind of hit or miss sometimes though. When the park is full at peak times good luck streaming anything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t spring for the back in river spots unless you just want privacy behind you. The view for us isn’t that great as there is a rock wall behind you so your view is actually of that unless you have a very big rig. It is very close to Springdale and Zion National Park which is very convenient and why we chose it so four stars.
TravelerFriendly staff and clean facilities with great shade trees in many of the spots. We enjoy walking around the drive for our daily exercise. Very accommodating of pets. Highly recommend.
