Danny the owner, was great. Could not have asked for more. He started us right out with a 5 dollar per day discount.stayed two days then had to leave. Will stay again.
Jake from the Dyrt here! We're excited to have this campground on the Dyrt and ready for you to book, check them out and make sure to leave a review!
General: A mix of FHU (most pull-thru but a few back-in), two tent areas, and three cabins.
Site Quality: All sites are level and gravel. Some sites have a brick patio that the picnic table sits on. As would be expected in an RV park, there is minimal separation between sites, however, when we were there on a weeknight in November, it was only about 25% full so it was not a problem.
Bath/Shower House: As we’ve come to expect in KOAs, the bathrooms and showers were very clean with soap and paper towels.
Activities/Amenities: The pool was closed for the season when we were there. There is a nice play structure, a basketball court, and a few other outdoor games. Amenities include a pool table, laundry facility ($2 each for wash and dry), fish cleaning station, pet area, and a small store open during business hours (9-5). The dishwashing sink appeared to be closed, perhaps for the season. There is free coffee in the morning.
This was just an overnight for us as we continued to head home after three months on the road so we were not looking for activities or amenities but appreciated that it was quiet.
We rented 2 sites for 2 nights. When we arrived they were taken. Half of our party had to go elsewhere because there was only 1 site left. The host frankly doesn't appear to be capable of doing his job. Manager refused to refund if. Never again. POOR MANAGEMENT! Prepay at your own risk.
Nice clean park and quiet. Nice little dog park. Management was friendly and easy to work with as we wanted to add an additional night's stay. We were in a drive thru spot and we could hear a little road noise, but it wasn't a show stopper.
OK, but quite a bit of freeway noise due to proximity and acoustics of site. Limited hiking from site. Need to walk/drive about a mile back down to visitor center to walk trails with petroglyphs.
Everyone here very nice and everything is clean
We stayed here for 1 week and had a great time just relaxing! The town of Beaver is very peaceful and is home to the Creamery. Its a great place to get the best ever cheese and ice cream...yum! Fantastic place for biking as well.
Jake from the Dyrt here! The beautiful cabin at Blue Knoll is perfect for a relaxing weekend or those looking to check out the parks of southern Utah, Zion & Bryce Canyon are easy day trips from the cabin and are must see spots. Check them out and share some pictures of your stay!
We stayed here two nights in our class C while slowly making our way across the country. The park is reasonably large. We had no problems getting a spot here. Sites are gravel, level and well maintained. Most are pull through. Hookups are in excellent condition. Neighbors could be a little close if the place is full. Sites did not included a table, but there was plenty of room to set up outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
There is a fishing pond that was also home to geese, ducks and other birds. A river runs along two sides of the park. There is also an enclosure containing chickens and turkeys. The office provided food so our 3 year year old granddaughter could feed those birds. The office also contains a lounge area with TV and games. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Showers and a laundry are available, though we did not use them. I did not notice propane being available.
Fremont Indian State Park is nearby. We found this to be a very interesting park to see petroglyphs and rock art, along with some examination of cultures and explorers. There is also easy access to hundreds of miles of off-road trails and hiking trails.
The RV park is conveniently located near the highway, but not too close. There was very little highway noise. The park was quiet and peaceful, though you could wake to the geese if you choose a spot close to the pond.
We had 3 bar LTE with Verizon. I was able to use my hotspot, though had trouble posting on Facebook later in the day.
This was a very nice place to stay while traveling. It seems to be worth a few days if you are looking to relax. We will stay again when traveling this way.
Clean RV Park, with Laundry and a small store. Paiute Trail access right from the RV Park. Each site has a tree! The park is tucked in a beautiful canyon, and surrounded by mountains! There is a gorgeous paved bike path that runs along the river, nearby. Staff is knowledgeable about trails!
Bathrooms were clean showers could be warmer. Views are awesome. We are the only people here. For only 10 dollars and get a quick shower. Totally worth it. Looks like this place would be busy in summer.
Ashley here with The Dyrt. We're so happy to welcome this beautiful resort. With 2 different lodging styles to choose from, you can bring your RV or relax in one of the cabins. Book your stay today and come back here to leave them some love!
Full hookups, showers and restrooms still operational. Lean. Spots are gravel, but level. They have 2 size pull ins, so it's nice to pay less as I have a smaller RV.
Stayed at Sam Stowe on our way to Bryce. Stay in site 5. Good site….private. Great hiking trail at the rear of the campground. Goes up the canyon. Visited the various sites for Rock Art through the park. Great stuff. We were able to stream using Verizon. Stayed for two night.
They have RV spots, cabins and beautiful tent areas right next to the river. Also there's an ATVs rental nearby.
We were driving past and saw this quaint campground. We have a big 40’ rig so we are always Leary of site unseen locations. We saw that the area was very open and well maintained. We decided to pull in. The staff was amazing and the store was soooo cute! We booked a night and now decided to extend. HIGHLY recommend!!
Beautiful area. Surround by mountains and farm fields. Beautiful gravel lot with rv spots, tent spots and cute little cabins. Showers, laundry, bathrooms, and fenced in dog area. Gas station/gift shop right at the camp ground. Staff and owners were super friendly. Feels like your out in the middle of no where (which you kind of are lol), but about 10 minutes south down hwy 89 is Panguitch, and that town seemed to have a little bit of everything. Bryce Canyon National park was about 40 mins away. Zion National Park was a little over an hour. Ceader Breaks National Monument was around those same times to. And many other things to do around the area.
Reserved a “Long and Shady” site, but it had no shade in the afternoon. That would be site 48. It has two very young, apparently dead trees. A bit disappointed about that, but all in all the campground is as advertised.
It was $38 plus tax a night. Quick night for us otherwise would love to have stayed.
Nice stop on your way through Utah. Pull through sites for RVs. Electricity but no water in March.
We have stayed here before and it is not a KOA any longer.
Wi-fi full hook-ups available Propane exchange small dog potty area laundromat
the people were nice and helpful! i had a back in spot but there are pull through a as well. it is right in town but a perfect stop to prepare for a journey to bryce canyon!
the bathroom was freshly remodeled and it was cute and clean and the showers were great!
i felt very safe!✨
Danny was an amazing host. Assisted in finding the place after hours. And offered eggs from his chickens on site. Place has a nice river and the views were amazing. The snow covered mountains offered an amazing view and a nice hike.
We were able to be nice and warm with out Roof too tent and heated blanket we were able to plug in.
This is great when you need to hook up to water and electric. Also had clean restrooms and clean showers for $1.25 for 4 minutes. Coin operated.
We were on our honeymoon from Denver to LA, booked this camp for one night but decided to stay for two nights because it was super nice, lovely views super clean bathrooms and restrooms laundry. The owner Dan is super nice he even let us stay for free the second night because of our honeymoon!!
