Really Spread Out
In a good way, it’s all very spread out, with your own picnic table and covering thing and fire pit, your set up for a really neat stay.
Our site didn’t have water or sewer, but had 50 amp, odd little spot to get into with a bigger rig.
40’+ 5th wheels, READ : 12’ clearance coming into the park WILL HIT YOUR AIR CONDITIONERS. Use the main road and block traffic, don’t go under the covering thing.
Game warden did have to move someone who was poaching in our spot, which was a 2 hour delay.
Neat park, killer views, friendly folks, supposedly great fishing, neat trails, some beaches, etc…

Can’t go wrong with LPSP
This is our second time visiting Lake Pueblo. After staying at Arkansas Point the first trip, we decided to check out the other side of the lake and reserved a spot in Yucca Flats. It is so peaceful here! Great views, and super quiet. One of the best parks in the Colorado State Park system.

Kettle Creek Campground
We stayed at the Kettle Creek Campground in the Northern Plains area of Pueblo Lake 8/27-8/29 2021. We found that this campground is all about knowing the spots. You can walk down to the water from many campsites but some you have to find your own path. We were in a very crowded swimming/boating area and ended up walking a bit to find a more secluded spot to hang out and get in the water.
The spots are well spaced and felt private enough. Bathrooms were a little far but not terrible. Bring your own form of shade as the shade provided is not great until the afternoon (depending on your spot)
