Landa RV Park & Campground offers water, electric, and sewer connections within walking distance of the Comal River, while Summit Vacation Resort features 153 sites with 30/50-amp service and level gravel pads. Rio Guadalupe Resort & RV Park maintains year-round operations with big-rig friendly sites and 50-amp electrical hookups. Most parks accommodate larger motorhomes with pull-through options, though site spacing varies considerably between locations. Stone Creek RV Park provides asphalt streets with gravel sites that include small picnic shelters on concrete pads. "The sites are very private and spacious and have nearby hiking trails accessible from the sites. Booking online is straightforward and check-in is virtually contactless."

Canyon Lake and Guadalupe River access points influence many RV park locations, with several offering riverfront sites at premium rates. Advance reservations become essential during summer months when water recreation draws crowds to the area. Cell service varies by location—Verizon and AT&T typically maintain 3+ bars of LTE service near major parks, while more remote locations may have limited connectivity. Most facilities provide on-site propane sales, dump stations, and laundry facilities. Pet policies differ significantly between parks; Summit Vacation Resort prohibits pets entirely, while others maintain designated dog parks and walking areas. Highway noise affects sites at several parks, particularly those positioned along Interstate 35 corridors. According to one visitor, "The park is right next to heavily used railroad tracks with frequent train whistles at all hours," making location research important for light sleepers.

    Mission City RV Park

    Cream of the Crop

You don't get a much nicer RV park than this in a major city. It hits all of the marks: mass transit at your doorstep; pool, laundry, showers and a gift shop at the entrance; easy pull-through, level sites; picnic tables at each site; quaint southwestern style! This is a nice park for the overnight or the long stay, and it has easy access to major highways.

    Sienna Ridge RV Park

Great quiet park for those not looking for a lot of extra amenities

Quiet clean park with great, friendly staff.  $17 a day is based on $525 monthly rate. Common bath house and laundry is always clean and ready to use. No amenities such as pool or hot tub or overhead RV shades. Wide, mostly level, gravel pull thru and back in sites. Sites up on the hill get a nice breeze and feel secluded. Many are monthly residents but all RVs and spots are kept clean and friendly! Close to the lake, local rivers and 20min drive to New Braunfels. Sitting right in hill country gives amazing views and drives in all directions.

Hill Country RV Resort & Cottage Rentals

Nice Park with little room between sites

The park it’s self is nice and clean.  Staff for the most part is friendly and nice.  The pool is a hopping place over summer break and on the weekends when it’s warm.  RV sites are tight in the daily/weekly sites and parking your 40+ foot rig and tow vehicle in the spot are probably not happening.  They do have over flow parking and depending on your site it could be a good walk.

They are pet friendly and have several dog parks and potty areas through out the park.  The laundry room is like no other I’ve ever been too.  All machines operate via debit/credit cards, no more quarters!!

Over all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this park for monthly stays or in one of their top tier sites for daily/weekly stays.

    Fort Sam Houston Army RV

    Good trip!

All the sites are pull-through with full hookups(30 and 50 amp), and spacious enough for even the largest rigs. The grass was freshly mowed, and the park was clean. Staff were super friendly. There's a decent dog run at the back, propane available for purchase on-site, and two wash houses with washers and dryers. A large playground keeps the little ones entertained. Despite many full-timers, there were still plenty of open spots. It was very quiet—aside from the occasional train, which isn’t noticeable with the A/C running. Would be a 5-star stay if there were just a bit more shade [geometry dash 3d](https://geometrydash3d.com).

    Summit Vacation Resort

    Texas Camping at its finest

We loved the quiet and peace of this RV Resort nestled in Texas Hill Country.

The Park: they have a large pool area with cafe and snacks. The property is large and spaces are spread out through out the park. The big draw is the Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake, and the woods and hills.

They have hot shoes, bath houses, laundry.

The sites: Gravel and mostly level, very few sites were unlevel. You’re surrounded by hills so it is nice and quiet. They are full hook up sites. Each site had a fire ring and picnic table. Small deer herds would move through the park each evening. Many of the campers feed them corn and they know the sounds and come running out of the hills.

The campground is near grocery and hardware stores. Within an hour are several bigger towns with more stores.

Cellular: T-Mobile was decent but not great. They do have Campground WiFi that worked faster.

Canyon Lake Military - Randolph AFB

We love it here. Not for everyone.

We started with day passes, then graduated to renting out the loft cabins, then tried tent camping, and eventually and recently parked our travel trailer in the reservable RV spaces. All in the same vicinity. Made great memories at each stay.

Pro’s: Best rate in town for military (active, retired, $ disabled). Water is beautiful. Fishing can be fantastic. Lots of water activities available for rent or bring your own. Pet friendly, Great for families, most people are very respectful and wonderful to talk to. Good food and stores nearby. Lots of wildlife. Quiet. Close to town and short drive from San Antonio.

Cons: Hard to get ahold of staff to make reservations. Market is extremely expensive and staff isn’t very friendly. Lost and lots of fire ants.

We recommend it to all of our friends and family and bring them often. We love staying in the loft cabins. Some are pet friendly. We have stayed in the mobile homes on the other side of the lake once but that was not a great experience as our things were stolen off our table and covered patio (on Veterans Day) and they were only left unattended for 15 min or less. The mobile home wasn’t very nice but functional at least.

    Stone Creek RV Park

    Average RV Park

Good location along I35. Park has asphalt streets, but gravel sites. Mix of pull through & back in sites. Some sites have a small picnic shelter on a concrete pad. Full hookups with all utilities working as expected. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice, clean laundry room with new machines. Wifi is unsecured & so slow it’s useless. Phone reception is also poor. Located next to a horse lot with several horses so the odor is strong. (Our site was very close to horse stable). Park sits next to heavily used railroad tracks, frequent train whistles at all hours. There are many full timers, some units in need of upkeep with junk piled around campers. There was quite a bit of litter discarded along the creek that runs through the park (which was dry during our visit January 2021).
