We stayed at Holiday Trav-L-Park in Virginia Beach for the first time for 3 nights in July. As our travel trailer is small, we were able to stay in site #152. This site had water and electric, was close to a bathhouse, close to the pool, close to the camp store, and also close to the front…

We were there mid-summer, picked a premium waterfront spot, so, yes, expensive. We had beautiful views, a lot of space, didn't feel cramped or crowded. Plenty of open and wooded areas to explore. Store scoops ice cream! Plenty of kid activities. The sound was fun to float in. Would be an…
Very nice campground. Staff was very pleasant and the campground was super family friendly. Bath house and bathrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper and paper towels
Pretty neat place on the bay. Stayed after a big storm, so lots of debree everywhere.
Perfect beach camping for tents ! This was our first experience camping at the beach and it was great. It was a hot July day , 90 degrees but we cooled off in the water during the day and by evening the cool breeze was perfect !! The only downfall is the traffic from the highway is loud and never…
- Flat site with concrete pad and patio
- Wooden picnic table
- Dog park with a couple trees, benches, water, obstacles, doggie bags & garbage
- Access and proximity to sound and nice beach
- Paved trail for walking or biking going north or south along Hwy 12 right outside campground
Not a whole lot of people. Pretty windy area being right on the water.
The campground Is large with 4 pools. It seems to need a bit more maintenance, some if the equipment is old and in need of repair. The rental bikes need to be replaced. Our site was small for our RV and we asked to move over to the one next to us. They said they couldn't move us. When the camper…
Over 2021 spring break I wanted to introduce my 2 granddaughters to camping. But at only 4 and 5 I thought it best to ease them in by renting a cabin but still have the camp atmosphere. This location was PERFECT! It warmed up enough to enjoy the beach which was a 5 minute walk from cabin. Both…
Location is good! Amenities are good! Campsites are good! Stuff are so nice!
This place is huge and everything they have is big. Pool and plenty of on site activities. Zip lining is close by. Easy access to the troll to the beach is right on site. For as crowded as it was it really was not that loud. Great location to visit and enjoy the beach.
Great place to camp. Had water and electric at our campsite.
We have camped here for the last 6 years. Very nice sites, nice staff, nice area.
This campground is less than 2 years old. They charge a daily $4.99 resort fee and I still have no idea why. There is no pool yet, waiting on an issue with the city. When we were there the midgets were so bad our RV was covered in them at night. Check your site carefully in you pay for a water…
We stayed at this campground in June 2021. The campground is clean and well maintained (although we did not use the bath houses at all). A nice site for families with plenty to do. They said there are even live music events, however there were none scheduled in June while we were there. The sites…
