Great hiking.

We stayed here October 7 2016 and had a wonderful hiking experience.

The campground is a bit noisy with machinery, but we didn't mind.

  • We always prepare foil packets in case there is no fire grate.
  • Wonderful fall leaf colors
  • The drive from Boston was nice.

Pricey but nice

There are many seasonal campers here but the sites are neat and clean. I called the day before I wanted to visit and was able to be accommodated. The camp store is well stocked and inviting. Will not hesitate to come back or recommend this campground.

Clean and well-maintained

We stated here in September 2020 and had a great time.

Hiking was very nice, campsite was clean and shady.

Nonadjustable firepit grate. Grrrr.... I wish they were all adjustable, but what can you do.

Plenty of space for a tent, camper and car.

MAN, it's DARK! One time my headlamp failed when…

Sady, quiet with great hiking

We camped at the Daughters of the American Revolution State Forest in September of 2019 and we are returning in October of 2021.

We found the campsites clean, flat and plenty large for our camper, tent and car.

The grill grate in the firepit is ADJUSTABLE which I love for cooking over the…

Great State Park

Sites are large, hiking trails within the campground. This is a very clean campground, no hookups but there is a dump station and water available. Sites are well groomed.

Great hiking, nice clean camping.

We stayed in site #57 at Lake Dennison August 30 2020 and had a wonderful time.

The lake is clean and the beach is clean and soft(ish).

Sites are wooded and shady and not RIGHT on top of each other, but pretty close together.

The fire ring grill is NOT adjustable so I had to use my…

Beautiful campground! Too many rules. Rude office managers!

We have camped here several times and did this year after a few years away. Love the campground and it is very clean and the staff is friendly but getting rediculous as to what they consider "a family". I can see restricting the number of people on a site but should be at least 6 per site, not 4…

Worse place

I hated every day I spent at this camp...I had no phone service or WiFi unless I went up to the office area.

Overpriced or underproduced

Either way it’s not good. Fields of RVs stacked, little privacy. The pool is full of unattended children and the river water can be iffy.

Nice, small campground

Pros- warm clean bathrooms Warm cinnamon buns in the am Great playground, pool and pirate ship. We were there with the Scouts and took up a huge grassy area with tents. Looks like a lot of RV’s for the long term, some pop ups, we were the only tents. Went river rafting so super convenient.

A great place to stay

We love this KOA! I recommend if you were in the area to stop here and spend some time with Michael and his staff. There are plenty activities for everybody. They have a fire truck ride that brings you around the campsite and hay-less rides. There is a pool there is a playground there are games of…

Great family owned campground!

Eh, it works

Definitely more trailer park than campground. The tent area is a small dirt cul-de-sac off to the side between some trailers and the bathrooms. Honestly not terrible though as behind is all woods and when you are in that section you do have an OK level of isolation and natural surroundings

Great place to relax
