We camped with family in the group circle site. The circle group site has a nice big area for the kids to play. The playground and lake was also fun for the kids too.
camped her for years and the park has lost its camp host. soooo honesty pay system is in effect. the park has a nice primitive spot along the river

This was a quick stopover so I can't comment on the park overall. It is nestled in the woods not far from the Indian Mounds area in Iowa. I stayed at Little Paint Campground. There are pit toilets, but the water said not for drinking. A small river runs by the camp. The park has hiking and…
This is a beautiful campground seated in a valley surrounded by amazing hills. There is minimal phone service. That means you get to absorb nature.
from trout steam, river access for boats or kayaks, to the beautiful trails with educational signs along it. this park is perfect
Many different trails for hiking, biking or equestrian. Camp sites are mostly grass. Beautiful park
Very quiet, small campground (possibly more quiet than usual being the 1st weekend of the season). Most sites are relatively private. Nice hiking trails within a short walking distance from campsites. There are 4 walk-in sites overlooking the Mississippi River. Clean restroom/showers.

Beautiful Park and wonderful Campground with restrooms & showers. they also Supply you firewood.

Great county campground with water and electric sites, dump at exit. Bathrooms on loop B are dirty and dated. I suggest going up to the Plains loop and use it's facilities. Very clean and new bathrooms and showers.
