Second time here

This is a great campground right on the Boise River. There is a greenbelt that runs from. The campground all the way to Lucky Peak Reservoir, a distance of 19 miles.

Great oasis just outside of town

We stayed in site 14 for four days. Met some nice folks as we dropped off some wood. Clean bathrooms. We visited Idaho City, Placerville, Centerville, and Pioneerville. Took one day to see Kirkham hot springs. There really isn't too terrible of a spot to park a trailer. My 24' trailer and truck…

Bugs and Heat

When we got there it was the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, and we got the last spot down the road. Needless to say it was alright, there’s lots of small bugs and standing water, little shade and high winds. But I’m sure good fishing, still was beautiful and would go back as it is convenient and…

Hot springs near by

Parked little below the coordinates and spent the night by the Snively hot springs. Not as gross as the reviews lead on. Very happy with this find.

The new owners are trying

The owner said they have had the park for about a year, and have made lots of improvements, but it still needs some work. The sites are confusing. We had site 17, but the water was so far I needed 2 hoses. The electric hook up was too far for my power cord, and I couldn’t reach the sewer hookups…

Other worldly

This place is a HUGE lava flow (extinct) that covers thousands of acres of land in eastern Oregon. It is about an hour of the main road on gravel roads that are in good shape. It is beautiful and mysterious. It is easy to spend several hours here looking at all the amazing lava structures left…

Hard to find and hard to get to, but promising!

For you true boondockers...   We tried to go to this campground and google maps took us the wrong way. Upon further investigation with the great "theDyrt" app, I see that we should have approached from the south of Jordan Valley on Danner Loop Road off of the 95 highway, and then north on Lower Cow…

Very nice for an urban RV park

I needed a place to stay to visit family. It is conveniently located. Spaces all had strips of grass on either side, and nice shade trees. Bathrooms were very nice and very clean. Laundry was cheap to do. Lots of folks with dogs, I like that. But no dog poop on the grounds. I had full hookups for a…

Nice location and wonderful hosts!

We stayed overnight here in mid November of 2020. It is on the SW bank of the Snake River, not far from FareWell Bend and the town of Huntington. And, it is next door to a public boat ramp (where you can boondock if you so choose). The proprietors are very nice folks and the scenery is…

Beautiful overnight boondocking spot

This boat launch has no amenities, but it is right next door to an established RV park (Catfish Junction) so you can get Propane and other things if you need them. And, it is right on the southwest bank of the Snake River! A great spot for an overnight stay!
