A dirt driveway off a quiet back road takes you to a secluded 120'x80' field perfect for tents, hammocks, and RVs. There's enough room for small to medium size RVs and travel trailers to pull through / turn around.

Continue down the path to the back of the property where it opens up to a 200+ year old oak tree and large creek.

Have you ever seen a Wild Georgia Turkey strut around?

We have one of the largest wood peckers I have EVER seen!

Not to mention our doe pack will definitely sneak upon you.

And there have even been little Georgia otters spotted!

The property is a beautiful wooded 10 acres on a rainwater creek. There are small babbling brooks and waterfalls, walking trails, lake, and Georgia's best wildlife.

About 500ft down a trail into the beautifully cleared woods is this one room cabin off the grid, disconnected from the “creature comforts” to enjoy the peace and serenity of nature.

Experience the nostalgia of camping but inside a solid building. You get to enjoy the whole cabin, greenhouse spa room and bamboo composting outhouse to yourself.

There is a fire-pit to roast whatever you desire as well as a grill with utensils.

The greenhouse is covered and filled with beautiful flowers in the spring and summer.

Inside you will find a large soaking spa tub with a fully functioning cold water shower head. There are 2 sun heated camp showers in the greenhouse. These stay in the sun and warm through the day.

The super simple compost toilet outhouse gets the job done in the most environmentally friendly way while it is composting. Additionally it does not disturb the natural ecosystem of our local wildlife. Once full, we use it to fill spaces and garden soil on the property.

Parking is complimentary at the main house (where my family and I live full time) It is a short walk down the trail to the cabin. Bring your rain boots if rain is on the forecast. We do have some you can borrow in case of Atlanta's notorious downpours!

There are other guests and other animals on the property.

No electricity or running water but composting toilet outhouse with cold running water sink+ camp shower in the greenhouse spa room. I also bring and/or make available 3 gallons of boiling water in a warming tank per day.

During the winter you receive 2 tanks of propane for the camp heater and 1 long burn fire log per night. There is a Cabana and Fire pit as well as a grill with utensils. 6 charging ports, Wi-Fi and parking available at the main house. Walking trails, lake, and wildlife. You’re welcome to enjoy our 10 acres of trails with creeks and brooks.

This is not just a cheap overnight stay, it’s an experience. In order to keep the cost affordable to those who are truly looking for this type of experience, please be honest with yourself.

We care for each of our guests with everything we have, but this is an independent journey and exploration of nature in a safe space.

God has entrusted the care of this Sacred Space to me. I pour my heart and soul into the cultivation of its natural beauty.

We are a thriving community of nature lovers.

Off-grid means learning how to exist in your most natural state without commonly connected amenities.

Here we disconnect from electricity and hot water.

That means:

No electricity - we have solar or battery powered lights after sundown.

No a/c - we have fans during summer, propane heater and sub zero sleeping bags during winter

No wifi - your brain will thank you.

According to the Cleveland clinic, researchers have found that taking icy showers may heighten your immune system and make you more resistant to illness.

The host/owner is a disabled Afghanistan veteran. We believe in and protect the rights of every American citizen. But we also love peace, nature, safety and all our babies - human or furry.

Georgia is a constitutional carry state. All guests who have weapons brought onto the property must notify us prior to arrival. The weapon must stay stored and secured during your stay as we are a family friendly and animal friendly property. We are in the middle of 4 subdivisions. This is not a safe place to shoot your weapon for recreation .

Also, this is Georgia and the cabin is in the woods. There are Georgia wild animals capable of showing up during your stay. Please do not shoot the animals.

Additionally, we have a few non-aggressive companion animals on the property. Please inform us if you are bringing an animals that may or may not be startled or agitated easily. They are still VERY welcome, but we want to take every measure to ensure everyone’s safety

Finally, if you’re coming here for a hotel stay, this is not the place to book. Poor reviews of this experience because of a lack of understanding diminish the purpose of the place we love.

Recommending that we spend more money on your comforts will more than likely price this location out of the budgets for those who choose to be frugal and intentional with it.

Why don't we use or have a/c?

Air Conditioning one of the single greatest contributors to global warming.

Think about it. Cool air in equals warm air out. The heat you “cool” had to go somewhere. That’s why when you stand next to the HVAC outside your house it’s blowing out hot air.

The cooler you make your house, the more heat you are releasing into the atmosphere. The hotter it gets outside, the more you need to cool down your house…ad nauseam.

Almost 90% of American homes use air conditioners, accounting for 6% of all the country's residential energy use. This air conditioning directly translates to a release of about 100 million tons of carbon dioxide every year.

As humans we have gotten accustomed to burning up the planet on both ends for our comfort.

Please, I beg you, do not come here if being hot in the summer and cold in the winter is unreasonable. Dress appropriately so you may enjoy the campsite.

Winter time recommendations: bring/wear a onesie type footed/hooded pajamas.

Summer time: bring loose fitting clothing, hop in the shower upon arrival, grab a cool drink and settle down in one of our hammocks.

If you have read all of this, you want to be adventurous, but are unsure, I participate in Airbnb's flexible cancellation policy. It's worth it.

Our site is located off of a gravel road which will give you the feeling of being isolated deep in the country, despite being minutes away from modern amenities (grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, etc.). 

We are only 40 minutes from downtown Atlanta, 5 minutes away from historic downtown Hampton (if you are a Walking Dead fan, this will look familiar to you!), and 5 minutes away from the Atlanta Motor Speedway. 

Whether you are a novice or seasoned camper, there is always something new and exciting to discover!  Your tent awaits you!

The Space:
Only 30 minutes from Atlanta, GA. Located on 14 acres! 

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). We are a former dairy cow farm 1.3 miles off of I-85 and offer a secluded, lovely camping spot under the pecan trees or viewing the pond from the pine trees. We are a small u-pick strawberry/blueberry farm during the months of April-May. 

We can accommodate self contained campers/RVs only. We provide power and water for both campsites. A full service truck stop with dump station, grocery store and several fast food and sit down restaurants are 1/3 miles away. We are 40 minutes from Callaway Gardens and the Atlanta airport.

Lone Oak RV Flower Farm

Private, rural, safe, secure. Located just outside a small rural town along one of Georgia’s designated Scenic Byways with light traffic. Oconee National Forest all around. Ten miles from Jackson Lake and canoeing opportunities along Ocmulgee River.

Campground is 48 acres in size and consists of open field, rolling hills, and woods. Pitch your tent wherever you wish. Can drive right to your tent site. Plenty of open room in the field for dry RV camping. Gasoline, diesel, full grocery store, several restaurants, auto parts, and hardware store all within three miles.

We have two full hookup RV site available. For tent campers, two community 110 outlets for charging phones, etc. are available. A community water spigot is available for tent campers and dry RV campers.

1\.5 hrs to Atlanta and Athens, 45 min. to Macon. 30 min. to Milledgeville or Madison. 30 min. to Covington.

30 min. south of 1-20 Exits 98 or 113, 30 min. northeast of of I-75 Exit 187, 30 min. east of I-75 Exits 201 or 205.

Big Country Camping

20 acres, mostly wooded, for your private camping escape in a quiet, rural setting. There are 2 old homesites on 2 cleared acres with full RV hookup beside a vacant stone house.

Nice "yard" area for the RV. Many great spaces for tent camping, campfires and hiking. Pets are welcome.

Near FD Roosevelt State Park (15 min drive) and Callaway Gardens (20 minute drive).

There is an additional RV hookup available but it will not be occupied unless both sites are rented as a bundle.

Private, secluded campsites on 20 acre property. Full hookups (city water, 50/30 amp electric, septic) on dirt/gravel driveway that can accommodate 40+ foot diesel pusher or smaller rigs. The site is beside a vacant stone house with well kept yard and 18 acres of natural wooded property. Easily accessible on a paved road. Covered parking for your tow vehicle. There are 2 sites available. The 2nd site is available only as an add-on to rental of this site. 20 minutes from Pine Mountain GA and Callaway Gardens, 30 minutes from Columbus, GA, 15 minutes from FDR State Park, 15 Minutes from Warm Springs, GA and the Little White House, close to Flint River.
